Six day week. Thirty day month. 5 to 6 day "thirteenth month" at the end of the year which is an extended holiday and reset period. Gives us a week that's not a prime number's worth of days (easily divisible for tasks that need to be done every second or third day, which is a LOT of tasks in life; you can do them the same days every week). Weeks fit perfectly into the month (which is also never a prime number) so every month starts and ends on the same day for the full year. 12 full months instead of 13 full months are superior for reasons of, yes, also not being a prime number, allowing the year to be cut into halves, thirds and quarters which is something we love doing for various organisational purposes (school terms, taxes, et cetera). Includes a natural rest/transition period that can easily absorb a leap year's extra day without fucking with anything.
Fuck the moon.
The last sentence is ambitious, but NASA have chased less noble goals further
not to piss on anybody's fireworks, but the moon, she has an elliptical orbit so her cycle varies a little, but is generally around 29.5 days
so the only way to have months the length of the lunar cycle is to just have each month start at the same point in her cycle and accept that each month may be a slightly different length - something other cultures have long embraced
also we can't decide when would be the most right point to begin the month - in some ways the dark moon feels most appropriate so the full moon is the centre, the peak of the month
anyway the moon is asexual so if you try to fuck her she's not malevolent, but she'll just slingshot you into venus, who will absolutely fuck you
