People gettin big mad about this but she said SOME, and she’s right so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Some more funny library signs.
Daughters watched their mothers go through a lot of pain, both emotional and physical, and vowed never to live that kind of life.
My professor talked about how women aren’t used to asking for things in the work place, such as raises, because we’re conditioned to downplay our achievements and hold off on asserting our value. She discussed how, even now at this stage in her career (a published doctrate), she shakes when she askes to be considered for a raise and about the first time she was really successful at getting one. After class I asked her what she asked her boss and she winked at me, took me to her office, and asked me to take notes.
She said she practiced this technique like 5 times in her office before she requested a meeting with her boss. I’m gonna share it with you guys because I really loved it.
You start off by thanking your employer for their support (whatever that means in the context of your work environment). You then say that you would like to take some time to discuss next year’s salary. You say, allow me to refresh your memory regarding some of my accomplishments or contributions from the past year, and you present a written summary of all that you’ve done. You close by saying, I hope that next year’s salary reflects this list of contributions and you thank them for their time and see yourself out.
I just loved how she made it seem so much less daunting of a task. She said not to underestimate your achievements as women have a tendency underreporting what they’ve done.
The fact that she shared this with me really meant a lot as well as women really need to be there to empower each other and help guide each other towards success. So if you end up using this, let me know! I want to see how it works for you ^_^.
I AM ABSOLUTELY LOSING MY MIND AFTER READING THIS PLEASE READ IT

This is Superman.
Superman is a tiny tiny little rooster who unfortunately was a little bit stunted in the growth area when he was a little chick.
Brother and sister, born at the exact same time.
He eventually caught up but by then the flock had basically bullied him so much for being tiny he’d been entirely ostracized and turned into a complete loner so now he has to live all by himself over with the cows, but he doesn’t care one bit because now he’s the leader of four big brown four legged chickens and honestly who can say that.
Also he’s super-cuddly.
I love him.
my name is Cow i haf to bend so i can see my tiny frend he cares for me and all the herd i care for him i lik the burd

IT’S TIME TO STOP USING SINGLE-USE PLASTICS!!!
We recently sparked conversation amongst the Tumblr community about our global plastic usage when we first introduced our reusable straws. While we were aggressive in pointing out that change needed to be made, some of you stressed that plastic usage went beyond just straws. We took what you told us in wanting more products that could assist in lowering our plastic usage and have come up with a solution for another plastic culprit: single-use produce bags.
While grocery stores worldwide are phasing out single-use grocery bags at the till, produce bags still remain. On average, 4 bags per family are used per day, adding up to a staggering 1,500 short-lived bags per year!
The average plastic bag is used for a whopping 12 minutes! That same bag will take centuries to degrade and may cause irreversible damage to marine life and our oceans. Making the switch to reusables will make a difference - in the health of our planet and the long-lasting freshness of your food.
They are not just for produce either. You can store travel items and almost any household item. Perfect for toys, fruit, coins, medicine, cables, cosmetics, accessories and much more. Use them to keep things together during grocery shopping, camping, fishing, garden harvest, beach, and travels.
We hope you’ll join us in our effort to continue the conversation surrounding the reduction of plastic use and keeping our oceans clean.
