Update!!
Hello All,
I know it has been a VERY long time since I have posted on my studyblr. Truth is, I had a very eventful freshman year even during the midst of the pandemic and I honestly forgot I had this account lol. But now, I have learned so much from this past year and I wanted to update you guys on what my plan is for this blog and the future!
- I recently got accepted into my university’s honors college, which allows me to complete an Honors Interdisciplinary Studies minor. I am beyond excited about this and I can’t wait to take you guys on this journey!
- I have played in so many ensembles (safely of course) this past year, and I am so happy to be able to have live music back in my life and in so many others. I never realized how much even a simple rehearsal has given me such joy in a difficult year, so I plan to make posts about the music I have played, what I have learned as a first-year music student, and more.
Overall, I have had a year of so much change, moments of frustration and sadness, moments of happiness and energy, and growth that I am more than ready to share my experiences and help others in their journey as a music student or anyone interested in the musical arts.
Take care!
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post

“the world comes to exist because we are aware of it. we cannot live in a reality of which we are unaware” is one of my fave quotes from the book I’m reading. Also guess who’s back to making travel photography parallels to every day life lol

Hi All! (an update)
I know, I’m REALLY behind on the summer studying challenge and haven’t been as active as I hoped. I’ve been caught up in a part time job that was not only time consuming but VERY consuming of my energy as well haha. However, I finally moved into my college dorm and I am beyond excited to finally be able to start college soon! I moved in a week earlier than the rest of the freshman due to rehearsals for marching band. I promise I’ll be back at it again, posting my studies and my works soon! thank you for sticking around <3

SUMMER STUDYING CHALLENGE: july 18th what do you usually do during the summer?
i love going hiking!!! being in the outdoors!!! i am blessed enough to live only about an hour away from giant sequoia trees, and about a week ago i went up for a couple days with my parents and my little brother. my goodness are sequoias gorgeous. it was beyond nice to finally leave my house to go somewhere (!!!) and be around nothing but fresh air, dirt, bug bites, and the trig notes i worked on at the campsite.
hope you’re all having a good day/night, wherever you are in the world ✨
✧༝˚* summer studying challenge | day four | 07.16.20*˚༝✧ ↝ do you have a lot of work to do for school or university or your job this summer?
i was supposed to do internship but due to the pandemic companies are accepting limited number of interns or not at all, and my school gave us the option of reserving it for fall or winter so most people including me preferred that. now the things i must do this summer are all related to my self studies.
13.07.20 // 20:05 // Summer studying challenge day 1
What are your plans for this summer?
I’ve got an online lab placement over the next couple of weeks, and online exams mid August. I’m also fitting in a (socially distanced & legal) trip to my boyfriend’s parents, possibly going home to see my family, and I want to start running again (at some point when I have time 😓)
Organic revision! My initial placement stuff took up more time than I was expecting, so it’s gonna be a hard few days until I figure out how to balance it with work, but I’m excited! Also caught a bee having a nap in our sunflowers while we ate dinner! 🌻
2020.04.16
Did not sleep well and barely managed to wake up at a decent hour after snoozing all the alarms. Woke up with a headache, but it’s gone now. I always get affected by the weather and it’s so gloomy today… Checked how my ivy babies are doing (we are growing roots!). Surrounding my desk with plants was the best idea ever! Picked a green highlighter for this morning studying session. Let’s start the day!
Drinking black coffee and studying John Milton’s Paradise Lost for my Explorations exam in May. This Satan character seems pretty cool.
