Here's an open invitation to send in asks for Alacrity AU!
INFO: Alacrity AU is a lore heavy reimagining of the main games' plot, remixing and combining details, as well as adding in lore from other parts of the franchise to create something new. It also serves as the centerpiece for multiple other AUs that serve as alternate dimensions within the story. A lot of effort has been put into developing the gaias, gaians, alien races (like zeti and wisps, among others), cultures, and overall world building.
These can be asks about certain characters, ocs, storylines, lore, and anything in between! I've been brewing so many ideas in my head for soooo long and I'd love to share them!
And honestly, if you've got a sonic blorbo that you love, just ask me about them. I'll either already have a version of them in mind, or be inspired by your ask to actually put them in ;)
note, you can also ask me about my other aus from Project Alacrity as a whole, but I'd like to focus on the main AU since that's the one I submitted for @sonic-au-collision-zone

Zeti! So I like.. just switched up my interpretation of Zeti in Alacrity AU, so this will be more brainstorming/restating ideas I've had than a definitive expansion.
So, I've made them not speak English. They have a native language that sounds like big cat snarls, growls, and chirps. This is to service the whole "Eggman starts an alien war so he can profit off of it" idea. They're not easily understandable, so there are lots of misunderstandings between the parties involved.
Eggman can speak to them and trick them into doing his bidding, because he has translators. He airdropped tiny spy bots onto the Lost Hex months in advance so it could pick up data on the species language and mannerisms so he could manipulate them easier.
He's never in-person on the Lost Hex in this version because he knows his firepower is tech based and they can control it. He stays in contact via long distance, uses the voice changer, even maybe fabricates/hides his appearance, all to get the upper hand.
And it gets worse when he finally finds the Conch. Now they've got no choice but to follow him.
I'll continue Zeti lore later on, but I think this is enough rambling for now. Happy Halloween! ^^
hi I've been brainstorming some rules for Chaos Energy usage throughout all the AUs in Project Alacrity:
- Everything, regardless of how small or insignificant it is, has at least some Chaos Energy inside it. Some species or individuals may have more than others, which makes them more aware of Chaos Energy usage and might even manifest in powers or unique traits.
- Black Arms and Celestials are incapable of using the Master Emerald for power. In fact, it functions like Kryptonite for them.
- Guardians are those who have attuned their own internal energies with that of a gemstone(s), and have vowed to protect it. This connection allows them to easily use the power of the gem(s) in question, detect their location, and know when they're being used by others.
- When a Guardian dies, their ghost is able to manifest as a spirit guide to help train up a successor, finish any unfinished business, or just give guidance. Other than that, when a creature dies their spirit will simply move on out of this existence and become unreachable, or linger around as a tormented fragment of their former self.
- Chaos Crystals are smaller, more temporary sources of Chaos Energy created from the intense pressurization of natural materials.
- New life can be created from Chaos Energy, though depending on the strength of the conduit and creator it may be significantly more difficult to achieve. It may even result in the conjurer's own demise. Most Chaosborn beings have an unstable makeup, requiring a Chaos Crystal or host to latch onto for stability.
- Curses and Spells can be cast through the use of a gemstone, though it takes a toll on the caster's wellbeing.

Pyjamas is a GLAWAKUS (magic bear cat hybrid thing lady)
Ebony is a LONZA (magic cat lady)
Mobian birds come in two varieties: ones with arm feathers, and ones without. The ones that have the feathers, which allow for more aerodynamic movement, gliding capabilities, and short term flight, are all actually direct descendants of Babylonian birds.
Alacrity AU Tails is not a relative of any Kitsune, but in the Sonic & Rosie AU, he belongs to a whole tribe of them. He and his sister are the only hybrid Kitsune/Mobian members.
Babylonians aren't just birds, it encompasses many species of semi-anthro animals. Babylon is the name of their home planet.
Some Dragonoids traveled to Mobius centuries ago to defeat and seal away the Black Dragon. Their descendants became part of the Northstar Islands' Sungazer Lizard tribe.
Seedrians aren't extinct in this continuity.
Trolls have the ability to steal the power from a living being, turning it into a crystalline orb that can be used by whoever holds it. It is destroyed and reabsorbed apon contact with the being it was stolen from.
Wisps can fuze and share their power with other lifeforms, but only temporarily. Long term fusion can pose a risk to the host's health. Think how Spirit/Human fusions function in the universe of ATLA and TLOK.
Mobians are less of an actual species term, and are actually just a name made up by humans for the planet and the creatures that live there. Kind of like how if there was life on Mars, we'd call them Martians, despite not knowing what the creatures call themselves, or their home.
The Baku were the ones to create the Reverie. It is the combined strength of many powerful Baku sorcerers, all put together and imbued in a physical talisman. It was made to help them survey and consume the dreams of all those on the same planet, as opposed to being confined to nearby prey like a Baku normally would be.
The Black Arms and Celestials are enemies by nature. Opposing energies, and they both are creations of Dark and Light Gaia respectively.
Pure Gaians are near extinct. With the passing of Chaos, Cosmos is left as the last one.
Tanuki and Kitsune rivalry.
Dragonoids are capable of taking long journeys through various harsh environments, and even the depths of space. This is thanks to their temperature resistant scales, high lung capacity, and powerful wings.
Lmao I made Ixis Naugus and Witchcart troll siblings like they were in the Archie comics.
Yeah I'm gonna make Fleetway Super Sonic real somehow just so Pyjamas and Ebony can have their murder demon child.
Thirteen in the Beta AU is probably gonna be a Naugus variant.
Gonna scrap all of the "AUs" that were just "Official piece of Sonic media but change a few things so it conforms to the lore I've written" ??? Is an idea im having right now? Thoughts:
This project is a Multi-AU, AUs within an AU like a nesting doll. If the other 24 are just meant to be extensions of the main universe, why should I be limiting myself to just making adaptations of the official media?
Especially if I wouldn't be inspired enough to actually do anything with them.
Especially if I'm just cherry picking ideas and characters from said stories and adding them to the other AUs I made up anyways.
They can be inspired by them still, in the same way Solaris Incarnate is inspired by 06, but i get to be silly and weird and pick elements I am particularly a fan of. So like... Underground and Movie inspired ones are more likely than SatAM, AoStH, or the mangas.
