MHA OC - Okami Riku/Penitent
He has white skin, golden eyes and shaggy white hair
He can transform into a large wolf, but only one part of his body at a time. For example, he can only transform his ears if he wants to improve his hearing, or his hands into giant paws if he wants to increase his strength. The point is that he can't have multiple wolf parts at a time. If he transforms his head, he gains the instincts of a wolf and it clouds his judgement, often making him violent. Because of this, he almost never transforms his head, especially since it becomes incredibly hard to turn back. On nights with a full moon, he can transform fully into a wolf with no drawbacks
He's quiet, and generally keeps to himself in corners of rooms. He avoids talking to people socially when possible, and doesn't like compliments. In reality, he's a gentle person who cares about all life on earth, but because of his loner reputation, it's easy to see him as standoffish or cold. He thinks his power is dangerous, and that it makes him a dangerous person, though he never explains why when he's asked. He has a strong sense of justice, and is completely loyal to anyone he associates himself with. He strongly dislikes being in crowded areas.
He grew up in a small, secluded village far from the city. It was quiet, tucked away, and almost forgotten by the rest of the world. It was the kind of place where everyone knew everyone, and Okami knew them best of all. He cared deeply for every person there, remembered their habits, their worries, their joys. His family adored him. His friends trusted him. He was always helping—fixing things, running errands, making sure no one ever felt alone. Life, to him, was perfect.
There was one thing that made the village strange to outsiders: everyone who lived there had white hair. No one could explain it. The elders said it was a blessing, that the village was connected to the moon in a way the rest of the world wasn’t—touched by something ancient and watching from above.
Okami’s Quirk manifested early. He could transform into a wolf. Before puberty, the transformation was gentle, almost harmless. His wolf form was calm and affectionate, more spirit than beast, and the village children loved him for it. They would laugh and cling to his fur, treating him like a guardian rather than a weapon. No one feared him. Why would they?
Then came the night everything ended.
His memory of it never came back whole—only fragments. Blinding pain splitting his skull. The feeling of his body tearing itself apart. Blood on the ground. Screams that may or may not have been his own. The moon overhead, impossibly bright.
When he woke, the village was silent.
His family. His friends. His neighbors. Every single one of them lay dead, their bodies torn apart by claws and fangs he knew were his. His Quirk—out of control, awakened by something inside him he didn’t yet understand—had turned him into a monster.
As if that weren’t enough, he wasn’t alone.
A woman—gravely injured—was still alive, clutching a baby to her chest. When she saw him, she didn’t hear his words or see the tears on his face. She saw only the beast that had destroyed everything. She fled, even as he begged to help.
Okami learned of her death days later, through the news. Alongside it were reports of a “Monster Attack” on the outskirts of the city. No names. No village. Just a headline and fear.
With nowhere else to go, he was taken in by a distant relative—the only person who didn’t look at him with terror in their eyes. Even so, he lived in isolation, burdened by guilt, barely speaking, barely sleeping, reliving that night over and over again for years.
One day, he heard two stories.
One was about a hero named Endeavor. A man who had done unforgivable things, hated by the world, yet still striving to atone for his sins. The other was about Tomura Shigaraki. A man who let his pain rot into hatred, embraced this rage and became the greatest villain the world had ever known.
Okami realized something then.
He felt no anger toward the world. No hatred for others. The only thing he despised was himself.
If his existence had brought destruction, then his future would be devoted to saving others. From that day forward, Okami resolved to become a hero. Not for glory. Not for forgiveness. But so that no one would ever have to suffer because of him again.
At U.A, he never tries to make friends, but he will protect his classmates with his life. And though he can't see it, they love him.
Three heroes done! Perhaps you can guess who the baby is.
