We are living in extremely harsh conditions, where our tent has been severely damaged and no longer provides the necessary protection.
The cost of building a new tent right now is about 1000 euros, and it is an essential shelter for our family, which is suffering from difficult living conditions.
We also face a severe shortage of food, especially basic items like flour, which has now reached 100 euros. Securing daily food would help improve these conditions.
My brother Samer is suffering from the absence of essential medications for stabilizing his health, and their cost is extremely high.

I'm Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business management and building a career. However, due to my family's financial hardships, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (KYTC), affiliated with UNRWA. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.
I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.
My younger brother, Ahmad, is 14 years old and currently in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and natural talent in mathematics. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing war, he has been deprived of schooling for the second consecutive year. In addition to his academic abilities, Ahmad has a passion for football and used to win tournaments.
Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Each day, my brother and I would wake up to fetch water, gather wood, and light a fire to prepare food. Survival became our daily task, but we never gave up hope. The conflict affected us deeply, but it did not extinguish our dreams of education and a better future.

ngl im pretty heavily disappointed with ep 3 of dark beginnings. i absolutely adore the animation and general direction of the series but episode 3 was??? so strange and im surprised i havent seen anyone talk about it. it is simultaneously an episode about shadow's unprocessed emotions regarding his past and paints him as someone to be sympathetic towards due to his losses and grief but also paints him as irrational and moody for experiencing trauma from a very real cruelty he experienced from a military force.
i fully understand that the GUN commander flips his feelings on shadow after the events of 05, but seeing rouge both work with gun after seeing what it as an organization did to gerald, maria, eggman, shadow, and sonic, and seeing her sympathize with the commander who called him broken and attempted to have him hunted and maimed for daring to exist is just? so unbelievably rancid and pro-authority that im baffled ive yet to see a single person talk about it. shadow not trusting a militant force is absolutely not him being irrational, its him acknowledging their very real wrong-doings and its such a weird note to end things off on.
sonic as a series is about caring about one another above the restrictions places either systemically or socially upon you and to see shadow's character be turned into one of a happenstance tragedy rather than a very real coherent decision a governing body did to him is not just mishandling the plot, it's rewriting the canon to be more sanitized to appeal to larger markets at the expense of a meaningful story. "sure shadow is exploring his emotions but what about the poor guy who attempted to have him killed and literally runs a military :(" is not the nuanced story beat people seem to think it is
trying to manifest silver as a playable character in shadow generations being revealed in a few hours at sonic central by voicing silly hedgehogs
seriously though, i thought this comic from @twipsai was really funny and desperately wanted to try my hand at silver for the first time, so thank u sm for giving me permission to dub this piece! your sonic sketches are always a delight!

wafaa had a campaign (vetted by @/90-ghost) that was doing well but ran into complications due to gofundme's policies about transferring funds, which have since been remedied. it cannot be emphasized enough how unimaginably devastating it has to be to be moments away from having the resources you need to fleeing one of the worst events in human history, only for something out of your control to rob you of that opportunity. this gofundme is donation protected and vetted. this fundraiser is displayed in usd, but you can also donate with euros by simply calculating how much you have and want to send over in usd, and putting that in instead. i can confirm that the inverse works for campaigns in euros when donating with US funds.
i encourage you to do your own research on this campaign and the images within, and after going through both tineye and google reverse image search myself, i couldn't find a trace of any of this existing before earlier this month.
these people have been displaced 10 times, and had escape ripped from their grasp by international systems outside of their control. please share and donate what you can to ensure that they obtain the resources they need.
