I know the writers fell ass backwards into this parallel but it GETS me that Sam and Castiel's first few exchanges were Cas condemning Sam for his choices and then their last on screen conversation was Castiel telling Sam his moral compass was right, his choices were valid and by extension his heart has always been in the right place.
