Strangers in Paradise is insanely frustrating because the panel composition, visual story-telling and general "comic mastery" is so staggering, but the plots & characters are LITERALLY CRAZY.

Princess Mononoke. This is by far my favourite Studio Ghibli film.
oooooooh.
And the first page. (I’m gonna write out the same description) : I’m planning on a mini comic about the Greek myth of Daphne and Apollo. These were some practise ones, and I figured I’d put them on here so I’d have some commitment to them :)
ahhh you're doing a comic! i'm psyched beyond psyched. WHOO!
Have you ever looked the world’s greatest predator in the eye?
Yep. I look humans in the eyes all the time. They tend to think you're shy, otherwise.

Read Black Heart
You should read this book and maybe dress this way too.
I think what made Star Wars such an accessible and enduring sci-fi is the fact the costuming is so bootleg. These outfits literally look like George Lucas pulled them from a sports apparel store in the seventies ... which is probably exactly what he did. And that makes it look Real and Gritty, and not like, say, Battlefield Earth.

Thanks to scottkelleystudio for the submission!!
Written on April 13, 1989, this letter was sent from second-grader Kelli Middlestead of the Franklin School in Burlingame, California, to Walter Stieglitz the Regional Director of the Alaska Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, lamenting the Exxon Valdez oil spill of March 24, 1989.
‘nuff said.
I should be calling you my lady!
look I know you guys are like 5 years apart and that's a big deal when you're a teenager BUT YOU NEED TO GET MARRIED TO BRING TOGETHER THE STARK/BARATHEON LINEAGE also because I said so.

Petty Personal Problems (with alliteration)
I am SO, SO close to saying “Screw historical accuracy” and setting this story in some unnamed and generic New England hamlet.
Haha, who am I kidding? TO THE RESEARCH CAVE. Gotta have something to do that will prevent me from actually advancing the plot.
This is how I feel all. the time. Also feel this way about characters and their genealogies. "If she's related to Joseph Russell, where/when does the Russell lineage diverge from real to fictional and why are there only like 3 books I can find on Quakers in the nineteenth century but five million on Quakers in the eighteenth century and AGGGGGH"
