So 2 things were confirmed for us and 1 question was left

1- Savage and Maul are official siblings. Maul Opress confirmed!

2- Maul is an anti villian (think magneto) someone with noble intentions but goes about doing it in the wrong way. Maul uses the shadow collective & the dark side for the purpose of destroying the empire & heal is inner child by defeating Sidious to prevent others from feeling what he felt. We knew this already but this just shows how from his perspective he is in the right and justified in his actions.

Question?

So they are tattoos or markings? Are zabraks born with them or do they develop overtime or are they tattoos through ritual like from JFO? The flashbacks showed the markings to be lighter and almost gone?
