I hear Europeans are going through a hot patch. From a desert dweller who grew up in 125 F temps: find some 100% gauze or double gauze cotton clothing. Yes, this is what babies and nurseries use often because it’s so good at temperature regulation with a loose weave. But you can find shirts, pants, skirts, dresses all made out of this fabric for adults. If you like sewing, I buy in neutral colors and sew a lot of clothing out of this for myself and my family. I swear by it. It keeps us warm in our frigid, dry winters and cool in our extreme summers. I even wear full length black pants out of this in the garden, sun beating down on me 110 degrees by 9am and it’s keeping me cool baby!!

I saw someone recommend looking for vintage Italian silk shirts and those are great too, but not always easy to find in typically cooler climates or they can start to be pricey. In short, look for natural, woven fibers. Cotton, silk, linen.
