what happened to good writing? Queer people getting their happy ending? The underdog getting the love interest? Masterful representation of internalized homophobia? Breaking stereotypes for the better? Having a romantic arc for a queer character instead of a rejection and acceptance one (in this case evidently acceptance, rejection, THEN acceptance AGAIN?)? Not even a byler kiss on Christmas to piss off the homophobes?

what happened to this being a show for outcasts. It was meant to be a show where we’re supposed to get our happy ending. I can’t be convinced it was just a crush. That boy was in love, and there’s no way on earth he gets over it in less than three days. I really hope that this isn’t just bad writing, because it would absolutely ruin the show for this to be how it ends. 10 years of beautiful slowburn buildup turns into this flaming garbage pile? One season to go was a little scary, four episodes remaining wasn’t hateful, but only one to go? I’m losing hope fast

i just think about seasons 1-4 and I’m starting to mourn them. Mike Wheeler they could never make me hate you, but what did they do to you.

I’m actually so done. The only good part of the volume was the upside down lore and even that was bad because there was literally no build up to it whatsoever?? It all got dumped on us all at once. I wish they ended it in season 4. Season 4 my love… I miss it. I was so excited for season five and by the time I got to episode 7 I didn’t even want to finish. And the coming out scene? Are you serious? I was supposed to be sobbing my eyes out at that scene. Instead it was so corny and unrealistic and Will got pressured to do it by vecna, and what the heck!!! Literally everything about it is just wrong. I can’t believe this. They could have at least ended Byler in a cleaner way. Because what is this.

Give me season 4 back.
