Sophia shrugged. “I dunno. She said she was walking home from work and they just jumped her. My father now walks to her work and walks her back. They are kinda opposed to the fact of the dog, but they understand. I am sure my sister can train it.” She chuckled, “I mean she trained her cat to do all sorts of things.”

What is your most marked characteristic?

Probably my red hair. I mean every one can see my bright red hair from across the halls. Even I think it’s too red sometimes.

Do you have a birthmark? Where is it?

I do have a birthmark. It’s on my left shoulder blade and is just a spiral that is lighter than my normal skin tone. When I tan, the birthmark stays light, so you can see it even better.

Sophia chuckled and hugged Natalie back. “Just a couple bruises and a scratch on her face, but she is fine.” Sophia pushed herself off to look at Natalie. “My mum and dad are furious, Mariette doesn’t know what to do. What do we do? What are they going to do with Mariette?”
