When and where were you the happiest?

I don’t know that I can pick just one time and place...

Certainly living with my friends when I was younger, I was happy. The Tennants, Ashers, and especially the Coles, took me in as one of their own.Being here at school is like a second home to me as well, and now I have a home with Spencer too... I’m so lucky, and definitely happy.

"There isn’t," He says, biting his thumb nail awkwardly, coming a little back to his own and realising he was being far too civil, but not enough to stop. "Of course, how silly of me, can’t go telling my plans to you lot - I’d be in detention for years," He tries for a smirk.

(She lets out a heavy sigh, deliberately being over dramatic) Professor Kensington has already told me I can’t sentence any students to detention for any longer than what I’ll be at the school to monitor it. So I guess you’d get off fairly lightly from me at least. Such a pity, too, because monitoring detentions is certainly one of my favourite Head Girl duties. (She gives him a flat look, her tone dripping in sarcasm)

No way, I’m just a student. You are Head Girl (He laughed and wrapped his arms around her, revealing in the warmed) Then what’s stopping you from doing it again?

Hmm... (She bit her lip and tilted her head, blinking wide eyes at him) I suppose very little. (Nat wasted no time leaning forward and dropping kisses across his cheeks before catching his lips with her own, not moving away so quickly this time, but lingering in the pleasant sensation. One hand was still curled in his hair, but the other moved up to start tracing light patterns across his shoulder)

I- (Nat stammered, she didn’t know how to help either, she just knew she wanted to, she needed to help her friend) I don’t know how I can help, but surely having people to support you would make it easier? We can... encourage you? Just check in? Make sure you have food you want to eat? I don’t know, whatever you need, Elizabeth. (She took another step back as Elizabeth’s tone changed) No! Of course not! (Natalie wrapped her shaking hands in her robes, feeling the tears sneak back into her eyes) I’m sorry, that’s not what I meant, I just... (She paused, obviously on the brink of continuing, but then her shoulders sagged, the fight visibly going out of her. Nat eventually continued in a low voice, her eyes not meeting Elizabeth’s) Maybe you’re right, maybe I can’t help you. I’ll just let Madame Jules look after you. I hope- (her breath caught) I hope you feel better soon. (Taking an almost imperceptibly shuddering breath, Natalie turned and walked out of the Hospital Wing, leaving her friend in the bed behind her)

(Nat hugged herself closer to him, dropping her head to rest in the crook of his neck) So are you, Mister Hale. (She slid one hand up the back of his neck until her fingers were tangling in the ends of his hair, before giggling and moving to drop a kiss to his lips) I've missed this too.

(Natalie stepped back, surprised by the vehemence of Elizabeth's tone. Her arms dropped back to her sides, and she was quiet for a long moment, before shaking her head and replying quietly) I don't get it. I'm sorry. This can be made better, Elizabeth. I don't mean to imply that I believe it's an easy fix, I know it's not, but this is something you can recover from, and you can recover so much quicker when you have people helping you, when you let people help you, and I can't- (she paused, her breath catching in her throat. She had to close her eyes against the tears she could feel creeping up on her; the thought of her Mother, slowly losing more of her mind as she lay in a hospital bed refusing to let anyone help her, slowly morphing into the image of Elizabeth lying in a hospital bed, shouting that she didn't need anyone's help. She eventually continued, in not much more than a whisper) I can't understand why you wouldn't want to do everything possible to get better as soon as you could.

She shook her head, looking up at Natalie, “No. My sister fought off some Muggle attackers with some spells and now she is getting blamed for it all.”

(Her eyes widened, and she quickly sat down next to Sophia, pulling her into a hug) Is Mariette ok? She wasn't hurt by the attackers at all?

I’m sure we’ll think of something. There are so many possibilities after all (He smiled back at her, resting his forehead on hers. He laughed softly when his nose brushed hers)

(She smiled, moving one hand up to his shoulder, and leaning up so she could kiss the end of his nose before carefully dropping so she was almost lying on top of him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders) I've missed you.

"He and I uh, disagree on some things. We made a deal and I didn’t keep my end. Tried to - couldn’t." He frowns, hands slowly moving closer as his stance beome more closed off. "Doesn’t matter," He looks down "But setting fire to his sitting room seems neatly dramatic," He smirks meanly, "Or an eternal stench," He hums, each one sounding attractive to him as he quietly ponders. "Perhaps an infestation of rats…"

(Natalie bit her lip to stop herself asking any questions, it wasn't her business, even if she did just want to help) Well, if there's anything I can do to help... (She let out a surprised chuckle) That's probably a little further than I can offer my assistance. Have to stay within the bounds of being Head Girl and all... (She offers a smile) I'll admit I can see the appeal in the eternal stench option though.

(Nat nodded, climbing off Gwen's bed and stretching, before heading down the hallway to grab her coat) So long as it's a cafe that makes delicious Hot Chocolates, you have me sold, Miss Asher.

(Natalie laughed again) That can't be true, we're treated to a veritable feast here at school every day! (She waved to a house elf, politely requesting some chicken nuggets before sitting down in a corner, out of the way of the scurrying creatures) I always miss the food during the holidays.
