100 Days of Productivity [64/100]
đż30/10/23đż
And thus spooky season is almost over :( I can't lie October went by too fast for my liking but it was fine.
Today I mostly focused on coursework for my marketing course and on making the weekly spread I forgot to do. Also every time I write "In the beginning..." my mind starts playing the "In the beningin" audio on loop.
đ§ song of the day: Te Mata - Kali Uchis
26â˘10â˘23// back at it, with a motivational poster and the best coffee in town.

biiiiiiig things on the horizon⌠i definitely spent longer on this one instrument that was really necessary or advisable, and iâll probably do the same for the next few, but such is life.
got to hear it played for the first time, too, which was pretty unreal. hooray for finished projects đĽ°

This morning I woke up around seven, I went out in the chilly weather and I couldnât feel any fatigue even though I slept 3h last night. When I got back home I had a cup of coffee and I started writing and sketching, it was a pleasing day and I feel so productive.Â

Naipaul first visited India in the 1960s, a journey that "broke his life into two" â the same decade as when he extensively travelled the postcolonial âThird Worldâ. This is articles from those years. A clinical and moving bunch on the impossibility of decolonisation and the long shadow of empires; on his encounter with India in a decade of famine, war, drought, and reform; a fragmented country "without even an idea of a graded but linked society"; on the teeming mass of former âcolonialsâ who canât help but seek out a metropolitan life.
Loved this to bits.
â THE NOTEBOOK
September demands blank new pages to put our thoughts in order so they are easier to materialize.
the most delicious autumn day todayâwalked & then took the train through the fog and rain to therapy this morning and had the best session about academia and its expectations, cooked some cinnamon apples to top my oatmeal for lunch and when i tell you the house smelled so warm... opened all the windows to the rain for hours, lit candles and watched them flicker, cleaned my email and made a list of every deadline coming in the next three months, chopped and roasted some vegetables for dinner (favourite kitchen task)âand now i am curled up with tea and my laptop on the couch, one leg resting on a pillow and the other leg's toes tucked under the live-in lover's thigh, to read a draft of a friend's article and draft some of my own words reflecting on the process of letterpress printingâ
