Welcome to Second Chance Animal Rescue, the best animal shelter in the Pine Hill area. People venture from all over to come here and find their new companion and none of it would be possible without your help. With your help, people will find their new best friend. At the end of the day, that’s what matters - doing the selfless thing to help make someone’s life better. (At least, that’s what the intro to the hiring packet said. No one knew that they were signing up for absolute chaos. Whoops.)
Yeah, surprise surprise, it’s a request of a squad inspired by The Good Place. If you haven’t watched it, that’s fine, but I highly recommend you do because it’s so good. These characters are loosely based on some of the characters from the show - they’re not carbon copies, but they share a few traits perhaps. They can be working at Second Chance for any reason you want them to, but the main point of this team is that they make each other better people. No one in the group thought they’d get along when they first met (and honestly… they didn’t, not really), but now they’ve got a group chat together filled with inside jokes and memes and plans made outside work while they try to find their ways in the world together.
Note - as far as face claims go, I’m rather open with whatever. HOWEVER, I would prefer if the Chidi, Tahani, and Jason were kept as POC while the Janet is not cis. This is not required, but it’s what I would personally rather have. vehemence is a metal band that formed roughly five years ago! while they’re not exactly big, they have a loyal following and have toured with some bigger acts. their sound is based on slipknot - the main inspiration are songs like duality and nero forte (though they also have songs like spiders).

hello! thank you everyone for your patience! i came down with strep throat last week so i’ve been recovering, but we’re back on track. currently, the plan is to share the discord link tomorrow, saturday the 15th, so everyone can get online and start chatting/plotting!
also, a second general reserve is now open! so if you have a third face you want to reserve, go ahead and submit them now and we’ll add them to the general reserve list. this is just a general one, so no need to post or do anything specific in the tag for it.
