Appearing behind him was one of the most unpredictable, yet predictable things that Lord Ghirahim can do. Seeing the dazzling Demon Lord disappear in a flurry of diamonds, Link’s cerulean blue eyes darted around, scanning around him. Knowing the male surface dweller as well as he did, Link knew that of all places he would be, it would be behind him. 

As Link was about to spin his heel, he was quickly met with a pair of arms that lifted his feet up off the ground from behind.

「・・・urp–。!!!」

A small, quiet, yelp of surprise came out of his mouth. Link wriggled a little around the locked arms around his waist. He turned his head around and stared up behind him at the demon’s pale features in questionable perplexity.

His bewilderment did not last long. Link blinked, then furrowed his brows. How did he get caught off guard from the Lord’s most notorious act. His face flushed a little, squirming more against Ghirahim in attempts to get down. 

「Let go・・・。」

[ ▲ ] – That’s it. He’s done. The boy throws his hands up and jumps into the water. Yes, he’s aware he can’t swim forever. In fact he gets tired fairly quickly, but he’d do anything to avoid this. He did know the answer, but he was way too embarrassed.

Oh no he doesn’t! The older Link immediately yanked him out of the water and frowned lightly. Okay... maybe this was starting to become some new form of torture, he admitted to himself. 

「I’m sorry. I’m done. Just remember to respect yourself and your Captain whenever you two get married, alright?」

[ ▲ ] –“I swear to the Goddesses, I will jump into the ocean right now. I-I’ve heard this before, okay? M-My grandmother beat you to it, so please…!”

Poor Link’s face is all red, and he’s squirming a bit uncomfortably. He closes his eyes and whines softly.

He was not going to let up from just that. But fine, if his younger self is so utterly embarrassed by his ‘birds and bees’ talk then,

「If what you say is true then.... I’ll quiz you. What is uh... Lubricant used for?」

Sweats. Link is trying to be strong for his young incarnation. This was really embarrassing for him too!

The young boy squeaks, clasping his hands over his ears. No, he didn’t want to hear it!

Link took his little bro’s hands and removed them from his ears.

Today was his last day at this job until the Temp job agency assigned him with another job. Retail is honestly rather difficult for a guy who has a special problem with speech, like himself. He would much rather work as labor for a construction site, or better yet a farm. Because then he would not be struggling so much with rude customers who demand verbal communication.

The College student has no complaints about his temp job, though. He always looked to the bright side, and at the very least he advanced his customer service skills. Also, his clothing sense seemed to have improved a little after some constructive criticism from the store manager. He was even forced to style his hair just to fit in with the Beauty store’s image. Being as he was a College student, he was a very messy and unkempt boy before this job was offered to him.

Link took a glance at his wrist watch. He still has ten till before he can clock out of his shift. His work ethic made him go and look around for any last customers to give service to before his day ended. There was not a lot of customers left in the beauty store because it was almost closing time.
