⋆𐙚 ̊. what would you do if you trusted yourself to shift?
before you come to any conclusions, just hear me out.
if you trusted yourself to shift, would you search for a better method because the one you tried didn’t work, or question if what you’re doing is enough? would you try to get into the void state, or listen to subliminals just in case? would you blame rolling over or falling asleep? would you put all your faith in anything outside of you when you’re the one making yourself shift?
if you trusted yourself to wake up exactly where you wanted, would any of those things even matter?
there’s a difference between doing something because you genuinely enjoy it, than doing it only because you think it’s going to make you shift. that’s not having trust in yourself. that’s you thinking something outside of you is going to do it for you.
of course it’s okay to try something new, i’m not saying it’s wrong to do that. but relying your shift on external things and then not end up shifting is where most people often get stuck, questioning what went wrong. the method isn’t the reason why you didn’t shift, it was never about the method (or anything else) at all. it was about the fact that you expected something outside of you to shift for you.
that’s the pattern i keep seeing, you’re simply not allowing nor trusting yourself to shift. because the truth is, your intention alone is enough! people genuinely aren’t lying when they say that.
“but i haven’t shifted with my intention..”
lets go back to square one. do you trust yourself to shift by intention alone? do you trust yourself to wake up exactly where you want to be, without needing anything outside of you? because if your answer is no, that’s where you should look, instead of looking for better methods or validation from other people. when you start trusting yourself, you allow yourself to shift.
now you’re probably wondering how you’re supposed to learn that after all this time, but the answer is actually pretty simple. act as if you already trust yourself. this current version of you didn’t come from nowhere, it was made by repetition. you can learn to trust yourself the same way.
whenever you question something, just take a moment and ask: what would i do if i trusted myself? what would i do differently?
act like that version of you because soon enough, you won’t even have to think about how you would act. it will be your default!
i only found out about trust just recently and it has already made such a difference in my behavior. i finally allow myself to relax and do whatever i want. i don’t question if what i’m doing is enough, because that’s just not something i would question in the first place if i trusted myself!
— and i promise you, it’s not about trusting yourself to 100%. it’s about being consistent with it until you shift. ‹𝟹
one of my mutuals inspired me to make this and it honestly needed to be said !!
