His chest rises in response to the pause in her voice. There is no more soothing balm than the information that he is not evil. His frame shudders as it deflates in response to the revelation. He grips at crimson sweater sleeves that are just a year too big and sighs with relief. The fact that no spirits of ill-will follow him is in comparison the most slight of consolations. Soren's expression shifts without conscious effort from anxious anticipation to relief and then finally a smile powered entirely by a macabre humour. A stroke of bad luck was putting it mildly. An attempt on his life had briefly succeeded and reduced him to a second childhood. " Bad luck really feels like an understatement. " The boy looks down at his fabric clinching hands wistfully before exhaling once more, "Oh well, what're'ya gonna do?" He adds in forced nonchalance. He'd been dealt bad cards in life before he'd play them into a better hand.

A foul mood clings to the ostensibly youngest member of the planet's faithful guardians. One of the unfortunate realities of needing to keep up his current cherubic appearance was the inability to when annoyed- simply tell whatever neerdowell to find some hole to go die in, ideally as expediently as possible. He groans slowly pulling at skin of his face, " I just want one... one moon cycle with no crazies... just one..." He evidently had not gotten much sleep.
