Tbh I’ve been on a massive Borderlands Hype recently and Angel was one of the easier makeup tests to do ( I did try female Handsome Jack but i dunno whether to post or not 😂)

Yang RWBY Vol. 2 Alternate Outfit WIP

I’m usually pretty good about logging my progress on cosplays, but since I churned this one out so fast I didn’t take all too many pictures of the process. In any case, here are the few photos I did manage to take!

I started with the jacket, which definitely took the longest (about a day and a half?) simply because I kept discovering new details that I didn’t immediately see in the turnaround (ie. the stripes on the sleeves and the back detail). I worked through the leggings and the skirt (which I made into skorts for ease of movement) in a day. And finally, I worked on the shirt on the last day. 

I really wanted this cosplay done for a con that came up much quicker than I anticipated, so I rushed through some bits as a stand-in until I can get some time to remake them much nicer (such as the belts and butt hankerchief). I also found out midway through working on it that some of my details are incorrect (like her dang shirt/vest thing has a zipper dsjkfasd) and I need to get the correct shoes with buckles and add her cute little bows to the backs of them.

This cosplay is far from perfect, but I am fairly happy with it for how little time I spent on it! Yang is my bb girl and I only want to do her justice lol!!! 

Btw… you know you’re a fabric hoarder when you can bust out an entire costume without going to buy supplies LOL. Please let me know if you have any questions at all about my cosplay! I would be more than happy to share my methods with you! =D
