That warm heaviness in Paultin's limbs was back. The night had started with pouring over some books to try and help him bring Simon here to him and a few glasses of wine. Somewhere along the way, Loki had brought out the mead, and much like she'd told him before, it was far stronger than what he was used to. Some time ago, the books had been cast aside and two sat talking, looking over the fireplace in the hearth. Telling stories, exchanging events that had happened over the courses of their lives. He'd even let it slip that he'd been raised by a demon and a warlock. Two wonderful fathers that loved him. Though.....that was why he didn't know a damn thing about his people or how their magic worked. Not really. He was still learning more and more that he could do.

Somewhere along the line, Paultin's chocolate hues danced over Loki, glassy and full of desire. She was a gorgeous woman. A god....she was a goddess. Literally. It was something he had to constantly remind himself.

He wasn't thinking. Not really. Or....maybe he was thinking with the wrong brain. Either way, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a heated kiss as they sat before the fire, his hand coming up to her neck, his thumb gently caressing the curve of her cheek. He could get lost in her. In fact, he felt weightless. Fuzzy. Getting lost was all he wanted.
