I think that, for me, work begets work, you know? Especially as an actor, if I’m not feeling fulfilled by the work that I’m doing, it’s my responsibility to either write, create a role for myself, or go back to an acting class. I never want to put that responsibility on a current job or on somebody else. I feel like that’s how people get embittered. When you say, ‘I expect you to fulfill me creatively…’ it’s never going to happen.
