rabbot adopting baby jane doe. now jack has someone to come home to that really does need him. he can’t be the dad his little girl needs if he’s busy getting shot at. and her young ears don’t need to hear the police scanner going on in the background.

and robby will certainly do everything in his power to make sure she remembers his face; not the back of his head as he walks through the door one last time. he will be the arms that never swaddled him.

jack abbot who still keeps pictures up of his late wife. has has the pittlings over for a bbq or smthn (he def has a corny ass “kiss the cook” apron). one of them sees a photo and is all “where’s the missus” and without skipping a beat he deadpans “homewood cemetery”

they’re all shocked and robby lets out a chuckle. after all his wife *did* love his dry humor
