hi this is such a bizarre question and i truly hope i’m not being a bother, but what record player is used in your most recent video? and would you recommend it? i’m looking to buy one because i was recently gifted a pile of records and i have no idea what to look for lol
Oh my gosh, not a bother at all!
So the one I use was actually gifted to me a VERY long time ago so I don’t even know if they would still make it anymore, but the brand is Akai.
I’m not a massive technology person so to me it plays my vinyl and they sound good and I love that it looks like a duck egg blue suitcase when closed. It also has an option to connect via Bluetooth so you can play music from your phone/laptop if you want.
But if you find one of this brand or another and it plays the music you have and it gives you joy then go for it!
A little thing I did! It's for the November Jily Challenge (just in time??!) and I was given a choice of 2 prompts which I don't appear in this chapter, but one will - I promise!

Title is in Welsh and it means 'I can't escape from this'.
Like there wouldn't have been a Harry Potter without James and Lily getting together (and getting some fun action ;-) there wouldn't be fandom in 2023 if it didn't all start way back when the HP books were still being written...
Back then, James asked Lily out incessantly, but truly ALL THE BLOODY TIME, how they could ever play spin the bottle is a mystery. They frequently swapped bodies due to potion mishaps, we expect because of all those nerves about who to ask to the Yule Ball coming up, so very soon....
This month we're celebrating the fun that old tropes can be, but we appreciate fandom has evolved to next level story telling as well.
Therefore any *Classic Trope* we give you, you are free to Put it Down, Flip it and Subvert it as much as it pleases you...

Firstly, thanks to @sosohh for tagging me you star! I was going to do the drop it like it’s hot or not but then decided:
The main thing is what will I work on, so instead of sticking to this, my 3 options are:
1. Operation Smitten Idiots (fluff/comedy)
Sirius is sick of watching Prongs & Evans make heart eyes at each other - for decades, well, at least a few months - and make no moves. So he’s driven to take things into his own hands… (second last chapter)
2. P.S. I still wait for you (angst with a happy ending)
Just before the war ended, Lily Evans disappeared without a trace, without saying goodbye. Two years later, James Potter is still trying to convince himself that he’s over her, that he was better off without her. And then he hears from her… (last chapter)
3. Wolfstar angst (first wix war)
one shot, based on the lyrics of Kiss Me which are 1000% perfect for this fic, I can’t wait to write this…
