Meet RiverClan's Council!
In the 24 hours leading up to our opening we'll be highlighting the councils of each clan. We met ThunderClan a few hours ago, and now it's time to say hello to RiverClan's council!
155 Moons - He/They
Torn between two worlds, Echostar was abruptly thrust into leadership by the Stars, his life upended overnight. He had barely begun to grieve the end of his days as a healer when the weight of an entire clan settled on his shoulders. Yet, he rose to meet the challenge, and devoted himself wholly to Riverclan’s well-being, working tirelessly to ensure his clan is safe, content, & cared for. When not holding the helm, Echostar remains devoted to his partner, Sootstream, and kits - spending majority of his downtime with those closest to him.

He/Him - 75 Moons
Sunmouse is a born and raised Riverclan cat, though his history extends far beyond the borders; but his loyalty has since shifted to focusing inwards on the kin remaining in Riverclan. Sunmouse errs on the side of doing what he can despite the borders and rules the code may bring, though this leads to dissatisfaction and a strain on doing what is right versus what is easiest. Becoming the deputy and a new father at the same time has significantly changed the way he lives his life now more than ever. Despite all of the challenges it may bring with the weight of his position and the need to support his family, Sunmouse does not regret taking Echostar’s offer. Rather, he hopes to aid Riverclan into a newer era, a one marked with peace and prosperity through his determination and hard work.

95 Moons - They/She/He/It
Mintyfigment is a,, cat to say the least. Don’t get me wrong! They are your average “want to help all they can” healer, who enjoys their job and every second of it, but at times can be.. unconventional with the ways they treat their job and those around them. From questioning starclan too fighting their so called “patients”, this former warrior can be a bit on the eccentric side. That said, they genuinely seem to mean good, and want the best for others, unless they have a personal grudge against you.. then it’s a matter of luck it seems.
Though with recent events and meetings, they seem to be a cat with a lot more on their mind. They worry, they worry a lot. Their friends, their family. Maybe it's not that obvious, but sometimes they worry if they did the right thing: Sometimes.
82 Moons - She/Her
Kora came to Riverclan with her family after moons of travelling, when her youngest brother fell sick. She always looks for adventure, with little regards to her own safety. The young molly fears nothing and doesn't beat around the bush - if she wants to tell you something, she will. Flowery talk isn't really her forte. Although quick to bore, Kora likes to get the job done, and done properly, although tends to unnecessarily turn up the difficulty mode on a task, just to make it more interesting.
46 Moons - She/Her
Orphicprayer’s story is nothing less than… eventful. The pearlescent feline was born during a trying period in her clan’s history, teaching her early on the harsh reality that would be her life. Like the rational existence of fear. And truly, she felt fear— the fear of many kinds of monsters, ones with sharp teeth and others with silver tongues. Even now these monsters lurk within the shadows.. she isn’t free of them..
Now bearing both physical and emotional scars, Orphicprayer takes up her sword she deemed a direct gift from StarClan. She is a cat of three codes, and she’ll uphold them at any cost- even if it ruined her… because it already did.

39 Moons - He/Him
Found during the otter plight and adopted into a large litter, Spectralsight's life since then has been a consistent whirlwind of unpleasant events. With both parents leaving the clan and a separation from his siblings by taking the healer path, the young cat extended the family gap even further, becoming a rare permanent resident of RiverClan's healer den, where he started a life of his own, growing into a logistical and confident individual who always strived to be a useful team member. With a recent attack, however, his usual stability has cracked, leaving the young healer to be thrown, yet again, into personal dilemmas and lessons he didn't think he needed. Still, he holds his head high, intending to use his skills for good, even towards those whom he believes might not deserve such kindness.

29 Moons - She/Her
Newly named she feels divided on her new promotion. Still a young healer she relies on the other healers; still hurt from the ones she lost but valuing those she still has, often seen next to Spectralsight. Despite RiverClan culture they stay within the healers' den, loving to decorate it! Often collections of the seasons flowers and reed decorations dressing the walls and nests. They care deeply for technique of how to use each herb and genuinely has a heart for the act of healing itself, maybe not the herb part at first. Crystalline may be aloof but is always there to help a cat in need.

23 Moons - He/Him
Found battered and feral at the edge of RiverClan territory, Lover's life began with a second chance. Taken in by Echostar and nursed back from the brink, he grew up with the wish to be the best warrior he could, despite the scars and limp his start had left him with. Fate had other plans when the path of the healer called to him, and he soon began to train for both ranks, with the belief he could achieve more than what the stars had in plan for him.
But peace has proven fleeting. With his clan driven from their home and into ThunderClan’s territory, Loverpaw has witnessed a world shaped by anger, loss, and a frightening absence of compassion. With tensions also appearing within his own clan, the gentle values Echostar instilled in him now feel fragile, leaving him struggling to regain a sense of purpose, and to find a sense of self.
They/He - 55 Moons
Echostorm’s life has been a bundle of activity the past few moons between birth of their second litter, the appearance of their long lost sister (and *nephew!!?!*), and the revelation that their stress dreams were actually *prophetic visions*. Ever since Starclan called upon Echostorm to join the Healer’s Council they’ve went from a reserved Campminder quietly raising their ever-growing family, to a bundle of nerves ready to break at any second. They’re still finding their footing in Riverclan’s Council, but they’re determined to make a difference that matters— even if it takes a little patience.
34 Moons - She/He
Of all the cats baffled by Benthos' place as one of Starclan's chosen, the very cat herself is by far the most perturbed. His place within the clans was only meant to be a stepping stone, after all; an outsider who found Riverclan while searching for missing pieces of his past, his already addled dreams took a strange dream only a few moons after settling in, deeming him a shiny new mouthpiece for gods that aren't his own. Soft spoken, whip-smart, and endlessly charming, they've taken to their role as a Healer Apprentice with quiet humility; yet, something restless and fearful simmers just beneath the surface of their cool exterior. Just how deep is too deep?
