My first-ever bloodweave fic is up!!! I’ve worked super hard on this one. Can’t wait to share more chapters!

No-tadpole AU where Gale works at Sorcerous Sundries in hopes of finding a cure for the orb. He constantly butts heads with his insufferable supervisor, Rolan, while struggling to adapt to the city of Baldur’s Gate.

Meanwhile, a spawn Astarion longs for an escape from cruel Cazador. After an inciting incident between the two - leaving Gale hunted and Astarion the hunter - the unlikeliest pair realizes they share a similar goal: finding a cure and obtaining the freedom to live the life they’ve always wanted.

SO 👏 a few months ago in the bloodweave brainrot server folks were talking about Gale being spacey and sleepy after Astarion fed on him, and my brain latched onto that like a leech. Took me a bit to work up the nerve to try doing anything synced to music, but ta-daaaaaaa~

This was particularly inspired by a little snippet written from that conversation by Mumble_Bee on AO3! Do give it a read if you want a lovely little dose of protective Astarion and silly, loopy Gale-

These are the vibes of my current bloodweave fic. I hope the Rolan stans out there appreciate what I've done making him the most sassy, pain in the ass Emily-inspired character (it's been a joy to write). Challenging myself with an enemies to lovers, slow burn arc in a no-tadpole AU. Can't wait to share this fic. Stay tuned!
