It's my 3 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

And it reappeared. Bigger and earlier than yesterday, this time. Although I would prefer to say I wasn't surprised, I would say I was. Its expansion has been something I've noticed for a while. With its light-absorbing cloak on, Helios transforms into a slender, massive figure everyday.

It looks like a rotten dead man. All I see are structures that resemble bones covered in a thin covering of rotting flesh. It never did me any harm. It simply showed up every day, donning his cloak of darkness. It ran over the sky until all was dark and all that was visible were little points of light battling to be freed. But they did not break free, not till the next day.

A headless figure that was not headless. Since it develops daily from Helios itself, it is as high as Helios. I wish I could measure it precisely, but even Archimedes can not. Is this Zeus's new punishment? As if Pandora wasn't bad enough already. And not to mention how we have to battle his fury whenever he fought with his new wife.

This, however, was different. It had just emerged two full moons prior and had grown considerably since then. I was scared at first, but as time passed, I became less scared. And it talked to me today. He called me, he said Aaris, my name. The voice sounded serene and frightful. I felt peace. I had a sense of life. It seemed to be asking me to follow him in order to find everlasting peace. My mother locked me inside when I requested to go with him. Men are chatting outside my house about burning me. They are envious as they are unable to see him. Since only I am the chosen one, they refer to me as crazy. They can't burn me, I promise. I'll burn myself before they get even touch me. That way I'll find eternal peace with him.

"What kind of father would do this to his only son? The future King of the empire.", Aster wonders to himself, In disbelief of what his father did to him. When he was going to succeed his father's throne to be the next King of Riguania, he was banished from the territory. The king's only son, whom he adored and whom he promptly provided every comfort in the world was thrown out by his guards into a dark forest. The forest of Wanderers.

He arrived in a swamp region, lost in the forest of the Wanderers, a mysterious marsh. He saw a cabin on the shore of the river, with lights on. For a prince who had been in excruciating pain and hadn't slept for the last three days, it was a blessing in disguise. He knocked on the door, but nobody answered. The door was open so he entered and discovered flasks filled with vibrant potions, wands , hairs of animals, colourful brooms and a lot of things Aster didn't even know the name of. Something weird was about the room, actually everything. Aster says to himself, "What kind of witchcraft is this person trying to do?"

At that moment, he hears a pleasant voice out of nowhere. "Boy, you shouldn't have come here. This place is not meant for the timid. You will be lost here forever if you do not quickly leave the forest." He glances out of the window and notices a woman holding a sword while wearing a white clock. "Who are you?" he exclaims. But, the woman disappears in the mist.

"What is happening, who was that strange lady? She also called me timid like father did", Aster says to himself. "Nevermind, I can see something is really wrong here but whatever she was, I ought to go."

"Meow, meow, meow," cries a terrified cat. He looks around and sees a cat in a small boat crying. "Chiro!", shouts Aster. That was his beloved cat, Chiro. How is Chiro here he wondered. He gave her over to his mom. "Don't worry, Chiro, I'll save you." As he advances to help her, he sees eyes popping from the water. Aster screams, "Those eyes... Alligator!!" with fear. "Oh my god, there ain't one but so many"

"Those alligators will eat me up. I can't do this. What should I do? Let Chiro die and run saving myself. No, I'm not that weak. It appears that Aster has overcome his dilemma. Luckily, one alligator shoved the boat in his direction. He could draw the boat closer to the shore if he swam swiftly and get in the boat.

He inhaled deeply and jumped. He made it the boat while the alligators started revolving around the boat. Chiro jumped into Aster's arms. "It's okay kitty, we'll be safe". He moved the boat closer to the shore being careful of the Gators and threw Chiro towards the ground by him. Her cat sensors helped her to land safely. "Chiro, get out of there and run! Hurry up!" Aster tries to divert their attention from Chiro. It succeeded, but the Gators attempted to topple the boat. Aster accepted his fate, but they fled awat as the king's soldiers fired gun at them. "Aster, my boy," sobs his mother. "Mom!" Aster was astounded. He was helped out of the boat by the soldiers. Both of them were secure.

His father says, "You passed the test with flying colours." "Test?" Aster asks. "You had turned into a weak person living in luxury, but a king must be brave and willing to risk his life to ensure the protection of his people." Aster didn't know what to say but he was happy that no one can call him timid now.

"So that's why you sent that mysterious lady and had a weird cabin set up here" says Aster. "What? What lady and what cabin Asty?", his father exclaims. He looks around and finds that the cabin has disappeared.

Today I saw her again. I think she's ready now. She has grown to be a beautiful woman, just like you. I know I never admitted it before but what best friend I would have been if I didn't call you ugly. She's even more effervescent than you. I'll keep a check on her and be with her when it's her time, just like you wanted.

My new recipe didn't work. It's tough being a researcher. Well, you bailed out before you even had to start it. I loathe the government and yet gonna recieve an award from them. It's kind of amusing.

You should know I'm getting old. The elixir is still at the same place u left it. I won't be taking it as well. I want to meet you soon, to beat you with my broomstick. Don't worry I ain't suicidal. I have plenty time. I'll make June a good witch before that. You know she got good nose just like her father. She smells off my potions the moment I enter the room. Her orenda is amazing and actually better than mines. She grew Henbane seeds that I gave her just in two days. Ah did I forgot to mention that last time? Must have forgotten. So much work these days for an old lady.

Ahh alright, I'm sorry. I know it's early for her but look she passed. I can see that in her, she's strong. Also aunts gotta be little mischievous, I can't be all responsible you know. That's your thing not mine. But sike, you are supernal now.

It's been 17 years Tabitha and I miss you. We decided to grow old together but you left me. You left us. I still wish you took that elixir that day but you are too righteous I can't blame you. I hope you are not lurking around in the town since then and found peace. Cupcakes were tasty right? June and I made them. Alright I gotta go now, the mayor wants to see me to discuss my winning speech. And he wants me to mention him in the speech. That guy will never change.
