Next time you watch it, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for copies of Viz’s old ‘96 release of Osamu Tezuka’s Adolf (better known now as Message to Adolf, currently released by Vertical, Inc) as well as volume 3 of Sho Fumimura & Ryoichi Ikegami’s Yakuza classic Sanctuary. Good to know that even in 2263, people still care about the classics!

Shiro Kotobuki passed away this morning. He was most well known for his Rumble Roses Illustrations. He became a quadriplegic over 20 years ago in a motorcycle accident, and became an artist AFTER the loss of use of his limbs.

Okay, Jordan Vogt Roberts accidentally said that the new Kong is the biggest ever when it’s actually the second biggest and there are people who are already unhappy about it.

SO WHAT??? Memorizing monster height stats is way less important for someone in his position than competently directing a movie.

Metal Slug 3′s Artbook

Again, I have some stuff that SNK Playmore doesn’t have in the anniversary page.

The most curious part in this is are the slugs, it shows the Slug Gunner and Mobile in early designs which were designed by the original team that made the first 4 games (I’m including X), these slugs were redesigned by the team who made 5, finally, the Slugcycle (I just made that name) and Turtle Slug never made an appearance in the games.

The universe of the manga and anime series Ghost in the Shell (GitS) is inhabited by a fleet of inquisitive and joyful blue robots called Tachikoma. They’re spider-like tanks equipped with childlike A.I. and two Japanese fans of GitS created these super awesome costumes so they could cosplay as the playful vehicles.

Seated on small rolling platforms, the Tachikoma cosplayers move about using a crab crawl. It sounds exhausting, but they look absolutely amazing. And as an added bonus, the costumes are kitty-approved:
