Originally posted to my Instagram, here’s Jeff Buckley’s letter to PJ Harvey from late 1996/early 1997. In it, Jeff mentions his plans to record the upcoming album “My Sweetheart the Drunk”.

References to the letter can be found in the lyrics of Harvey’s song “Memphis”, that memorializes Buckley. I found the letter on a Reddit post after it had been donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
