currently watching:

i’m halfway through my annual rewatch of Spaced. i started trying to watch The Sopranos again but yet again it hasn’t hooked me… i’m not sure if it’s the show for me 💔

current obsession:

Brideshead Revisited and all things 1920s! i’m slowly working my way through Evelyn Waugh’s books. Vile Bodies is next up on my list.

currently reading:

i have just finished Brother of the More Famous Jack by Barbara Trapido which i enjoyed! it’s described as the ‘bohemian Brideshead Revisited’ on the back cover which i think is quite apt. i loved the humour and how quintessentially english it was. i’m currently halfway through The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway which i have to admit isn’t grabbing me. there are a hell of a lot of descriptions which just mean nothing to me and i’m not finding the characters very interesting.

currently working on:

my second attempt at writing a book… the plot this time around is a lot more compelling (at least for me it is!) and i find myself able to dig a lot deeper into the characters. however i am only about 4,000 words in and i haven’t touched it in quite a few weeks. i need to get back to it because i’m constantly thinking about character motivations and plot ideas.

currently wearing:

i’m on holiday wearing a godawful ‘I ❤️ Ibiza’ vest and black pyjama shorts because the original t-shirt i brought to sleep in was too hot.

last google search:

i was googling the Twilight Zone episode starring Buster Keaton titled Once Upon a Time. definitely need to get round to watching that.

favourite flower:

wisteria. i fell in love with it as soon as i smelled it in my local park.
