so this is the good ending for Martyn, right?

does this mean he's in heaven?

or does he get to live again?

because my theory/au idea is this:

martyn gets to live again.

he "ascends" after veinbound. he wakes up, somehow digs up his grave and...isn't sure where to go next. cleo finds him and so does pearl. they inform the others.

martyn isn't sure where to go from here.

he has nobody left; no family, no friends (at least, he believes that, since he was just "allied" with apo, cleo and pearl), no partner, no father to fall back on, nothing.

maybe he could go searching for sausage.

maybe he could go somewhere new.

maybe he could try to bring ren back.

maybe he escaped and became frogue the rogue, from bannerfall.

whatever you like, but at least...

at least he gets to live again.

he's free, regardless of the cicrumstances.
