Even from childhood, I grew up fearing the abundance of the cosmos and the infinite space betwixt the stars. That my ship, bearing the tiny yet oh so precious lives of my crew would become but fragments of debris floating in the asteroids.

The icy embrace calls to me. I try to resist, dreading the times to come. The stress that comes with plotting a route, only to get sidetracked to answer a distress call.

My crew is more like my family. Grief follows each death. A life wasted where caution could've saved them. Do I place the lives of my pawns above the Mission? How many tries will it take before I give up on everything, letting my crew to despair during a firefight?

Death awaits, yet so does life.

I feel like human Papyrus should have immaculately-groomed facial hair but I’ve only ever seen one other person actually draw that. And I can’t tell if it’s a symptom of the fandom’s chronic infantilization of Papyrus, or if it’s because he’s clearly someone who cares about his appearance and for many decades “maintains tidy appearance” was often tied with “clean-shaven” in the western world. So is it because he seems like someone who keeps up with his appearance (shaving is an active choice after all) or is it because nobody thinks of him as a full grown man

i think human Papyrus would look really good with a beard, honestly. He would hate growing it out because of how untidy it looks while he's doing it, but once it's there he would probably do all kinds of things with it. The issue with the fandom is that they usually pick one personality for all of the characters, and then never deviate. Regular Papyrus would love the idea of having a beard, it's more hair to take care of.
