Well, we're all back from the parties, the noise, the fun times of Soul Survivor - the question though, is "now what?" Is that it? Did we sing some nice songs and feel close to God for a bit and now we leave it all behind? Now that the noise is faded, what's left?
Here's some words from Mike Pilavachi - listen to this and keep the spirit alive!
The noise has ended, but Soul Survivor goes on in your heart until you choose to give up on it. Even if you weren't there, watch this to understand what it's all about...

Baby Angels & Demons?
It's a weird thought, right? Little baby demons running around. What's perhaps weirder, is that some believe it actually did happen!
Way back in the long ago, there were people called "Nephilim". They're not only in The Bible, but are referenced in everything from horror movies to even "The X-Files". They were giants - real, proper giants. It's possible that some of the early myths and legends of supermen and pagan gods even came from stories about them. There's references to these nephilim being 'half-breed's - the offspring between demons and humans, or possibly angels and humans (check out Genesis 6:4)
Nobody's quite sure if this is actually what that scripture means, but it's well established that such an enormous and super-strong race really did exist.
And YOU know the name of one of them! Ever heard of Goliath? Well did you know that he was the SMALLEST of his tribe? The others were even bigger than the most famous giant in history!
The thing about giants, is it's not about how big they are - it's about how you react to them. Seriously, check this out...
The Jews left Egypt, following God to a place he said was just for them. When they got there, they sent ten 'spies' in to check the place out. This is what eight of them came back and said...
"They said, "All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there. We felt like grasshoppers, and we looked like it to them." (Numbers 13, 32 - 33)
Imagine you're given a fabulous prezzie, and all you have to do is wrestle some giant monster-man to get it. Would you be like those eight spies? Bricking it?
But you know what? There were TEN spies, and two of them came back saying "LET'S KILL EM ALL AND TAKE IT!" These fellas had guts!
So, here's a question, why did they have so much courage, when the other eight were too scared to go back? They all saw the same thing, so why did eight come back as grasshoppers, and two as giant-killers?
The difference comes down to one word - faith! Those two who were up for a fight remembered that God had already beaten the Egyptians for them, split a sea in two for them, made bread fall from the sky for them to eat, and even made birds fall out of the sky when they said they were sick of bread!!
They knew that, no matter how big these giants were, their God was WAY bigger! They trusted that God had told them it was THEIR land, so no amount of giants were going to stop them taking it! They believed, and that was that!
So, what are the giants in YOUR life? You know, we always face giants, wether it's an exam we don't think we can pass, a decision that seems too hard to make, a relationship that seems gone forever, or ANY hard thing that just seems impossible to overcome.
When you face that problem, will you be a grasshopper, or a giantkiller? Well, that depends on how you react - it's nothing to do with the size of the problem, only the size of your faith! Two people were up for killing giants because of what God had promised them, so here's a bit of what He's promised YOU...
If God is for you, WHO can be against you? (Romans 8:31)
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? (Psalm 118:6)
So do not fear, for I am with you;...I will strengthen you and help you (Isaiah 41:10)
So what are you waiting for? God's with you, and he believes in you - the only question is whether you believe in him! He's on your side, so believe it, ask for his help and GO FOR IT!
You know how long it takes to walk from Egypt to Israel? A few weeks. You know how long the Jews were wandering around without a home? 40 YEARS! All because they were afraid to take on the giants!
How long are you going to wait?

JESUS WASN'T A CHRISTIAN!!
Okay, yeah, that kinda sounds weird, right? But it's true - Jesus was NOT a Christian!
The question is, are you? Really? Whether you think you are or you insist you're not, are you really sure either way?
Actually, what on earth IS a "Christian" anyway?
Well, the word was invented 200 YEARS after the Crucifixion, when no-one who even met Jesus was still alive. AND, it was an insult! It's kinda like the ancient version of "God-Botherer" or "Bible Basher." Still, the name stuck, and after ANOTHER 200 years (so, 400 in total after Jesus was last walking around), followers of Jesus officially took it on as a badge!
So, none of Jesus' followers were "Christians" - not for the first 400 years!! So, what did they call themselves? One word they'd use was "followers".
It's really simple. Jesus said the same thing to all his 'followers'. He said "follow me" (pretty much what you'd expect to say to a follower, right?) That's it!! He didn't say "come to a weekly meeting", "attend confirmation classes" or even "get your baby Christened". He never asked anyone to sing a hymn, say "hail mary" or go to confessional.
What he DID say (in John 5:19) is that he only does what he see's his Father doing. He also told us to do what he did, and what he said. Anyone who did, was following him - and so was a follower. Jesus said to love each other, then demonstrated.Jesus said it's better to be selfless than selfish, then demonstrated.Jesus said to defend the weak, then demonstrated.Jesus said to change the world, then demonstrated. Does any of that sound good to you? Sound like the way you'd like to live? If it does, then do it! Just read what he said, and what he did, and then follow! Want to call yourself a Christian? Go ahead! No? Then don't! It really doesn't matter. Followers follow - the rest is just words!
What Now?...
Who is this Jesus person?
What does He expect from you now?
What will you gain from knowing Jesus?
The Bible says that Jesus is Our God and Our savior.
He lives in your heart.
He wants to be your friend.
He is always there for you.
He wants you to start living in him and trusting in Him no matter what situation you find yourself in. Whatever you have done you can always come back to Jesus because He loves you and forgives you.
You can rely on His support.
He'll listen to whatever you say to Him, to all your worries and pains, He will help carry them.
Not only will He listen but also as a Creator of the Universe and you, He will help you handle everything and in the meanwhile he’ll change you into a better person.
It is exciting journey, not always smooth and Jesus never said that it would be easy but it is worth it.
And don’t forget every week we’ll help you to move on in this journey.
This week why don't you:
-Write a letter to sharing your feelings with Him.
-Everyday say thanks to God for something in your life.
