A sadness like this takes its time leaving. It doesn’t just go away after a good nights rest.. of which I haven’t had in months. And before that, even more months. “A good nights’ rest”. Lol. But no. A sadness like this lingers like a drunk friend at 3 AM who can’t take a hint. You want him to leave, but each time you look at your watch, no matter how many hours have passed, he is still here. I’m so tired and the time is killing me.
