Hello Tumblrverse. I don’t normally do things like this but I have a favor to ask.

My longtime friend @texasred43 was recently diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. She has a long and very expensive road ahead of her. I have created this GoFundMe to help her with the costs of her treatment. Please take a moment, click on the GoFundMe link, and read about her situation.

Two week update on the GoFundMe for @texasred43

It’s Sunday evening, August 4th 2024, as I write this and I am relaxing and cooking dinner for my family. And as I think about sitting down to dinner with my family after a carefree Sunday, I again think about my friend @texasred43 and what she is facing. She can’t have relaxing Sundays right now like the rest of us.

To put it mildly, what she is facing is not good and she needs your help. As @christinered reminds us all, @texasred43 is facing some enormous medical bills. And she feels sick all the time, part of the symptoms of her stage 3 pancreatic cancer. And she is in a lot of pain.

Sadly, the GoFundMe campaign slowed way down this week. We collected just $296 this week vs. almost $3,000 last week. We have collected $3,186 total, which is helpful and thank you to all those who have donated so far.

Please step up and donate what you can. She needs our help!!
