SHE WATCHES HER CLIMB , gaze curious. when she’s asked , she can’t help but raise her brows in confusion & surprise. ❛ with ME? ❜ definitely never been asked before. ❛ ah… i guess ? i don’t really… play , though. ❜ never had anyone to play with.
“Do you jus’ sit up here?” Minerva tilted her head in slight confusion. Didn’t play? Why wouldn’t someone play at recess? Sure, she’d seen some kids read at recess, but Violet didn’t appear to do that either. She was antsy just sitting on one of the bars of the dome jungle gym, eager to move, climb, or hang from the bars that made it up.
“Do you not like t’ play?”

VIOLET ISN’T SOMEONE TO MAKE FRIENDS. why should she ? each recess , she sat alone atop the jungle gym , looking up at the sky. the clouds were more interesting than anyone here. she can FEEL eyes on her. gaze is spared towards the red-head , curiosity peaking a bit. why was minerva looking at HER ? they didn’t exactly have anything in common ——- well , not that violet has taken a second to learn if that was true or not.

Minnie was quick to shake her head at the question. Instead, hesitantly, the redhead began to scale a bit of the jungle gym herself. Thin, soft hands took hold of the cold metal bars that held it all together. Before she answered, she at the very least wanted to get closer to Violet. She didn’t appear shy, instead preferring to speak directly to the blonde headed girl before her.
Stopping just before she to the top, Minnie sat herself on one of those cold metal bars.
“Can I play with you? I don’t wanna be by myself, since Sophie not here today,” She explained briefly, bright green eyes staring up at the other girl curiously.

The twins didn't necessarily have a dependency on each other. Though, barely anyone could tell that, considering the fact the two identical, red headed girls were rarely seen without the other. Today, however, Minnie found herself alone today.
Sophie was home sick from school today, leaving the elder twin feeling a sense of mildly loneliness looming through the day. The days had their own rhythms to them, and without her sister? Things felt off. It was a change, but not a completely unwelcome one. For once, rather than typically playing with her sister and their small group of friends that they had during recess, Minnie approached the jungle gym where the more energy driven kids played.
Clad with her long red hair up on two loose pigtails, and a jean-overall dress over a plain black and white striped long sleeved shirt, Minnie was a bit out of place. At least in terms of being compared to the children that were dressed appropriately for their rough days of playing.
Glancing about the playground, she tried to spot just about anyone she could end up playing with. She could hardly spot anyone else from the same class as her, consider the first grade recess also coincided with second and third grade recess. Never the shy sort, though, when Minnie finally spotted a familiar face from her own class, she quickly made her way over.
For now, the object of her interest was Violet Jules.
things are, and will probably continue to be for a lil while, pretty slow here. my irl life is crazy rn and it’s exhausting. so i’ve been mainly sticking to my main two accounts to combat my anxiety surrounding it all.
so yeah, hopefully once either I calm down or things pass, I’ll be around more to get both Lou and Minnie working.

his words came out bitterly, a scoff coming to his tone as he spoke. he knew it had been a year since they were gone. it had been a long, restless year. a year they wouldn’t be able to get back. they brought the two back safe and sound. marlon, upon seeing their arrival, was more ecstatic to see sophie than he was minerva. and of course, that made minerva very suspicious. she wouldn’t have to be suspicous for long, however.

“So that’s it,” Minnie was raging. “What makes you think Sophie wants to see you?” It’d taken a while to get the elder twin back down to a more rational way of thinking. After being conditioned for a year, it’d been clear that both twins had a lot of mental scarring. In a surprising twist to everyone, considering Minnie had always been so gentle and caring before, she was the one with the most harbored rage toward Marlon.
