Soundwave always gets his information one way or another… even if it leaves his interrogatees scarred for life, his methods are just too cruel, not even Jazz himself can handle it (it’s just that Soundwave is so very much not the kinda guy to show his face, much less smile, that it causes mental and emotional damage to people when he does 😭)
