I go by the name SourApplex1 on pretty much every site that I post on. This includes AO3, Wattpad, X, and Janitor Ai.
I used to write fanfiction and still do once in a while, but I probably won't be posting that very often as I have several other projects I'm working on.
Right now, I'm focusing primarily on making bots on Janitor and keeping small projects on the side. I use this blog to post about the ongoing worlds of my OCs.
This is a little masterpost for the sake of keeping things organized.
As of right now, I have three major "universes" active.
1.) Zethos (Aka "Zethosverse")
2.) Vaeorius
3.) Letters to Alka (LTA)
All of my posts and characters will be organized into their respective universes that follow their own contingency and laws. I drop lore here often in regards to that. Think of this blog as my little diary.
Here's a summary of each universe:
Zethos -
Zethos is an ongoing project that has been worked on for over a decade now. It's the main universe for most of my older characters and was once an active roleplay between myself and a small group of my friends.
It's more of a "grimdark" world with the express purpose of highlighting the duality of man and the concept of the "dark side of humanity". Most of the characters in Zethos are written to follow a lesson or idea in that regard.
For example:
Kamalani "Lost" Amissum depicts the slow decay of humanity in exchange for survival and power.
Keith Cila depicts self-loathing through unwillingly becoming one's parents.
Zethos is also the home world of several unique places, species, and items that I've conjured up. I'll make a post about them soon. Some of these consist of:
The Al'quient - a dangerous and violent species of merfolk
The Sheonian Relics - three ancient relics used to control wormholes.
Several reoccurring key locations...

Vaeorius -
Vaeorius is a world that serves as an alternate universe to Zethos. It takes place in a timeline where Zethos suffers an Armageddon-level nexus event in which the universe is wiped and is forced to start over again with only relics of the previous version.
Vaeorius is further behind technologically than Zethos is but some places, relics, and species survived the event. Because of this, there are some parallels; however, the overarching concept and storylines have diverged entirely.
In this world, the focus is less around individual struggles and dualities within characters and more around overarching ideas of prejudice, power struggles, and political confrontations. Rather than internal struggles driving the story, there are more external struggles.
Three major races rule Vaeorius:
Elves, who are magically gifted but lacking primal senses due to their evolutionary trade-offs.
Humans, who can learn and harness magic but excel in the creation of technology and weaponry. Their adaptability makes them powerful.
Beastkin, who are humanoid creatures with animal features. Their strength lies in their raw strength and natural gifts (claws, tusks, fangs). They cannot naturally access magic and must use tools infused or blessed with it in order to borrow said power.
Although supernatural creatures like vampires exist in Vaeorius, like they had in Zethos, they are remarkably rare. Average civilians believe them to be creatures of myth.

Letters to Alka Universe -
The universe in which Letters to Alka exists is generally considered to be an alternate version of Earth. There are subtle differences (IE, demihumans exist alongside humans, supernatural beings exist), but for the most part, major locations and cities remain the same. The band is based in the West Coast of the United States, but the exact location isn't specified.
There are some key fictional locations for the sake of lore and storyline:
The Corycian House
Hymn & Hearth Café
Zethos and Vaeorius exist as fictional concepts in this world - as a popular book series.

Please Note: These worlds, concepts, and pieces of lore are all works of my own imagination. AI is only used for imagery and audio purposes (Ie: Letters to Alka songs, some character face claims, location imagery, relic imagery, species imagery, etc.) All creations made using AI will be marked as such. If it isn't marked, it's man-made.
I write primarily with my best friend and Janitor AI botner @xxbioweaponizedxx but also with my husband who doesn't use Tumblr. Some of my characters have canonical and intertwined lore with theirs. Please keep that in mind and be respectful!
In the world of Zethos, magic is relatively common. Enough so that special measures had to be put into place to prevent those blessed with extraordinary capabilities from causing mass destruction or exerting their whims over those less fortunate. Thus, the ZHAC was created.
Housed in the snowy mountains of Voi'elle, the ZHAC is a fortress of cement, steel, and magic-suppressing technology (generously provided by CherubCorp).
Many of the higher ranking ZHAC personnel are magically gifted themselves and have gone through extensive schooling and training to be best equipped to set their wayward peers on the right paths.
Patients admitted into the ZHAC are evaluated based on their cooperation and risk levels (Ward Colors) along with their magical capability levels (Tiers).
Tiers classify raw destructive potential, independent of personality, cooperation, or ward placement.
A patient’s Ward = behavior + stability.
A patient’s Tier = power + potential damage.
ZHAC Tier System:
Tier 1: “Enhanced Mortals”
Profile:
Individuals with no true magic, but enhanced physicality, training, or minor supernatural quirks.
Examples:
Peak‑condition fighters
Alchemically enhanced humans
Minor beastkin traits (claws, strength, senses)
Threat:
Low. Dangerous only in close quarters.
Risk: Low
Protocols:
Standard restraints only during transport
One‑guard escort
No suppression devices required

Tier 6: “Continental / Global Threats”
Profile:
Individuals whose existence threatens entire continents or the world.
Examples:
Reality warpers
High‑order dimensional mages
Ancient beings with catastrophic power
Magic that destabilizes ecosystems or ley lines
Threat:
Cataclysmic.
Containment is theoretical.
Most are believed extinct.
Risk: Cataclysmic
Protocols:
Multi‑layer suppression array integrated into the cell
Zero physical contact; remote interaction only
Cell located in deep‑containment sublevels
Reality‑stabilization wards active at all times

Purpose:
Facility directors, head researchers, chief medical officers.
Level 7 — “Black Clearance”
Access:
Tier 7 archives
Reality‑instability reports
Catastrophic event protocols
Access to sealed historical records
Restrictions:
None (but monitored by external oversight)
Purpose:
Only 1–3 people in the entire ZHAC system hold this clearance.
If you have Level 7, you are either:
the Director,
the Arcane Oversight Chair,
or someone who should not exist.
Level 8 — “Ghost Clearance” (Classified)
Access:
Not officially acknowledged
Used for individuals who are not on payroll
Access to everything, including Tier 7 and off‑record anomalies
Purpose:
Black‑ops agents, external auditors, or entities the ZHAC cannot publicly admit to working with.
This level is rumored, not confirmed.

M. littoralis is a small, semi-aquatic mammal averaging 0.9 m (3 ft) in total length, including the tail. Height at the shoulder is approximately 30 cm (1 ft). The body is elongated and serpentine, with a flexible spine allowing rapid directional changes both in water and among tree branches.
Limbs:
- Four short limbs, each ending in five digits.
- Forelimbs possess opposable thumbs, enabling grasping, climbing, and manipulation of objects.
- Claws are 3-4 cm long, sharply curved, and keratin-dense, functioning as both climbing hooks and predatory tools.
Tail & Fins:
- Tail length equals or slightly exceeds body length.
- Lateral fins run along the distal half of the tail; these expand in water and collapse when climbing.
- A larger terminal fin provides primary aquatic propulsion.
Dentition:
- Teeth are narrow, recurved, and sharply pointed.
- Adapted for gripping slippery prey such as fish and seabirds.
- Dental formula suggests a carnivorous lineage with minimal molar flattening.
Fur & Coloration:
- Fur is short, silky, and highly water-resistant.
- Common color morphs: silvery-blue, pale green, seafoam, sandy blonde.
- Coloration corresponds to habitat (open water, kelp forests, dunes).
Eyes:
- Possess dual eyelids: a standard lid and a transparent nictitating membrane for underwater vision.
Habitat & Distribution
M. littoralis inhabits coastal forests, mangroves, and rocky shorelines adjacent to large saltwater bodies. They construct nests in elevated tree hollows or woven structures of driftwood and seaweed.
Habitats typically include:
- Tidepool networks
- Estuarine inlets
- Cliffside forests
- Mangrove canopies
They avoid inland regions and rarely travel more than 300–500 meters from the shoreline.
Diet & Foraging Behavior
Primary Diet:
- Small fish
- Shorebirds and their eggs
- Crustaceans
- Intertidal invertebrates
Hunting Strategy:
- Ambush predators using rapid aquatic bursts.
- Skilled climbers capable of raiding cliffside nests.
- Known to steal from fishing nets and docked ships.
Their curiosity often leads them to investigate human settlements, making them common “nuisance fauna” in port towns.
Behavior & Social Structure
Temperament:
- Highly curious, playful, and intelligent.
- Generally solitary outside of bonded pairs or small family units.
- Territorial disputes between adults are common and can be violent.
Social Units:
- Lifelong monogamous pairs.
- Family groups consist of two adults and 2–3 offspring.
- Juveniles remain with parents until ~3 years of age.
Communication:
Observed communication methods include:
- Chirps, trills, and clicking vocalizations
- Tail-fin displays during aquatic interactions
- Claw-tapping on tree trunks to signal territory or alert mates
Reproduction & Life Cycle:
- Gestation: Estimated 8–10 weeks.
- Birth: 2–3 altricial young per litter.
- Development:
- Eyes/ears open at ~4–5 days
- Begin hunting practice at ~2 months
- Independence at ~3 years
- Sexual maturity at ~6 years
- Lifespan: 20–25 years in the wild.
Bonded pairs exhibit strong cooperative parenting, including shared hunting and nest maintenance.
Predators & Threats
Natural predators include:
- Large raptors
- Coastal serpents
- Sharks
- Terrestrial carnivores capable of climbing
- Al'quient packs
Anthropogenic threats:
- Habitat loss
- Fishing net entanglement
- Poaching (their pelts are valued for water-resistant properties)
Notes:
- Marepuer are known to collect shiny objects, possibly for courtship or nest decoration.
- They exhibit problem-solving behaviors comparable to corvids and otters.
- Their territoriality toward conspecifics remains poorly understood; ongoing studies aim to determine whether this is resource-driven or instinctual.
Mythology and Folklore
Friend of the Lost: For many sailors, Marepuer are not considered pests or thieves - but, rather, are good omens. It is common practice for seafolk who embark on long journeys to tie shiny trinkets, jewlery, and coins onto ropes that are dangled over the sides of ships. These are offerings to the "Tide's Children".
If a marepuer accepts these offerings, they're considered a friend of the ship. It's believed that, in exchange, marepuer will alert ships of upcoming dangers - such as Al'quient territory and incoming storms.
Common offerings include:
- small coins
- polished buttons
- broken jewlery
- bits of brass
- shards of colored glass
Furthermore, there's another superstition locals and sailors know as the The Widow's Wail.
Because marepuer mate for life, should one's mate meet an untimely end, it's likely that passing ships may hear a marepuer's haunting Mourning Call. The sound pierces through even the strongest winds. Hearing it is considered a terrible omen of loss.
It's not uncommon for crews to refuse to sail the morning after hearing one.
There's a quiet mantra amongst most ships:
"Never harm a marepuer.
Never chase one away.
Never deny them a trinket."
Follow these rules and The Sea may smile upon you.

Also! Let it be known that Chase Venator is first cousins with Keith and Dustin Cila. His father, Kade Venator, was the brother of their mother, Mona Venator.
Gonna make a master post later about Zethos and all of the continents and stuff.
Later tonight, I'm also gonna fully revamp the scripts on Janitor AI now that I better understand them. It's fun to finally be able to share this world, even if in a small way. It'll probably be used in a lot of my future projects.
The LTA boys all share a luxury apartment that they've had since after high school, called The Corycian House. Some of them have their own places outside of this, but The Corycian serves as a sort of frat house for them.
Tbh my botner/bestie and my husband have first dibs to all of my ocs. If they decide their OCs are in love with them, they're immediately soulmates, red string theory or whatever - and therefore the bots are an AU. 💜🍏
During a lot of their performances, Ezren and Damien often flirt with one another on stage. They get touchy, make intense eye contact, and even mouth things to one another.
The kicker? They're strictly platonic. They've been best friends since middle school and have never viewed each other romantically. They do it because they know their fans eat it up.
