sourinweek turned 2 today! We hope everyone is having a good fall and gearing up for Sourin Week in January! Please send in some prompts via ask and we’ll make this the best sourinweek yet!!

SouRin Week PSA

Hello lovelies! Due to overwhelming commitments on the part of your admins, we will not be holding SouRin week in the fall this year. *sadface* The last thing we would want is to do less than our best for the shark otp.

HOWEVER...

There will be a week-long celebration for Sousuke’s birthday held here! (Note: this is an all-pairings celebration, not just SouRin; Sousuke deserves ALL the love on his special day). Please be sure to follow, to fanwork, and to have fun in wishing our gorgeous whale shark the happiest of birthdays!

And stay tuned for updates on SouRin week in January to coincide with Rin’s birthday!! Tentative dates for our celebration are January 29 - February 5, 2017.

Rin lost the showdown… ʱªʱªʱª (ᕑᗢूᓫ∗)

As much as Sou likes letting Rinrin win, he was not about to have their special day be named that way! ( •⌄• ू )✧ Leave it to Rin to realize something like this… such an adorkable romantic dork! (ノ*゜▽゜*)

This was totally not planned–I woke up this morning and this suddenly hit me! (ᅌᴗᅌ* ) I shared this with Mel (mlim8) and this was the outcome of our conversation!

This video was a year in the making. Part One came out V-Day of last year and because of how much work went into it and all the encouragement I got from people and friends, I wanted to make it special - so I hope this video works… (I  know that tumblr video is…… temperamental, at best sometimes…)

Sourin Week Day 7: Coffee Shop | Say ‘ahhhhhhhh…’

Donut holes to go, please ヽ(๑╹ڡ╹๑)ﾉ

The boys decided to go drink some coffee to warm up. After munching on a couple of donuts, Sou decided to take some to go just in case he gets the munchies later… and he did–on the way home! -(｡ﾉᗨ<｡)ﾉ He’ll feed his Rinrin while he’s at it. Good thing he bought quite a few! 

Sou has a bottomless pit… the boy can eat! A nom nom nom! (っ˘ڡ˘)っ♥

Sourin Week Day 6: Fantasy | Dark AU

Mummy cuddles are the best cuddles! ( •⌄• ू )✧

Rinrin wanted bedtime cuddles–but Sou said he wasn’t a baby anymore and to stay on his side of the bed. Rinrin pouted and had no choice but to cuddle with Souchke #2. One hour later and one completely knocked out mummy later… Rinrin felt a sudden pull. He opens his eyes and to his surprise he finds one sleepy cuddly mummy holding him. Rinrin can’t help but smile as he goes back to sleep ( ´‿` ) ♥

Sou has gotten so used to holding one chubby poochie pooh while sleeping that he now does it unconsciously! Silly mummy (◡‿◡✿)

SouRin Week - Day 7 - Aiko Desho: Coffee Shop

Years later, Rin and Sousuke meet at a coffee shop. All it takes is a sleepy morning and a name and Rin falls in love all over again.

It was nearly 6 am, when Rin had decided that he’d go for a jog. After finally spending the whole night half way unpacking things into his new, little Tokyo apartment, Rin was intent on exploring as much oft the city as possible. That was until university started up and all that free time would melt away. He’d gotten up early to go jogging since there was a park not too far from where he lived, that sat at the heart of a row of shops. The coffee shop at the corner is what caught Rin’s eyes when he’d looked up to wipe away a layer of sweat. Taking a drink of his water, Rin made a mental note of where it was when he was properly showered and presentable. Rin ran around the park twice more before heading home.

Rin jammed his hands into his pockets, retracing his steps. He noted the bench, the second one with the engraved initials at the center with a scraggly looking heart around it. The little fountain in the tiny little “hideaway” met the corner of Rin’s eye before he looked over and spotted the hanging sign of the coffee shop. It simply said “Coffeehouse”. Rin checked his watch, 7:20. A coffee now and then wouldn’t hurt his diet, he figured.

It wasn’t as packed as Rin was expecting, but there were enough people for Rin to crane his neck down the line. He mentally tried to calculate how much time he had to get to the front. He looked up at the menu, silently mouthing the options to himself.  Floating around the menu were foamy looking sea-creatures. His eyes skimmed but kept coming back to “Shark’s Bait”, a cafe latte topped with a foam shaped shark at the center. Rin’s brows raised; almost every one of them had some sea-creature topping guaranteed. Though, the Shark’s Bait seemed to have the strongest kicker by far.

Rin was still staring up at the menu when he approached the cash register. A deep voice made Rin blink back to earth.

“What can I get you?” He said.

“A, uh, Shark’s Bait?” Rin said. “One of those steak sandwiches, too, if you don’t mind.”

I would have loved to have seen Rinrin in this type of uniform! He would have looked so darn adorable! ♡(ŐωŐ人)

Rinrin likes teasing Sou a lot! First day of school and he’s already at it–telling Sou he looked adorable in his uniform! Sou doesn’t say anything… he just… blushes to the side trying to hide it–but you can’t hide the blush from Rinrin, Sou! ヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ ♥

Even though he knows he shouldn’t… even though he knows what they are like… he couldn’t help but smile back at the alluring dark fairy right in front of him.

Sou befriends the pretty fairy not knowing that he is the dark fairy prince–but he doesn’t need to know that… at least not yet! A mix of both Flower Afternoon and Star Night! (*^▽^*) Smol, adorable, and precious kiddos ♥
