Wakaba Mirai

One of my least favourite Kazumi designs. Let’s start with the hair, I figure it’s supposed to be like huge poofy curls, but the way it’s drawn comes across rather like a huge bulky chunk of plastic. But of course my main problem is the dress which just looks stupid with the way it’s so obviously designed for fanservice. It’s like specifically the areas a dress is supposed to cover have been cut out, and the fact how there’s still fabric on her sides and how her arms and legs are fully covered just accentuates it. And why bother wearing a skirt if we can see most of your underwear anyway? Granted the dress would be pretty boring if it wasn’t cut this way so at least this look is memorable if nothing else, but I’d imagine there would have been alternative ways to make it unique.

I do like how she has similar heart brooch+ribbons in her hair, boots and on her neck, but then her skirt frill has a sharp triangular shape, while her sleeves and… I guess bra have a more rounded one, I’d rather them use the same shape (maybe preferably the rounded one since the design is otherwise so soft and poofy). Finally colour-wise I don’t think the pink of her dress and purple of her hair work together too well here. 1/10.
