This Sunday: Matthew Ebel

This Sunday we have the wonderful pleasure of having Matthew Ebel in “studio with us.” For those of you who may be unfamiliar with him, may know him as a successful singer who’s art has gone through various changes since the early days of the MUck. Here’s some more info off his website:

Matthew Ebel is a Boston-based piano rocker whose performances have been entertaining audiences for over a decade. With influences ranging from Ben Folds to the Foo Fighters, 

Ebel brings both a well-constructed sound and palpable energy to the stage. You may have seen him at the Grand Ole Opry, a local coffee house, a sci-fi convention, or streaming live via YouTube, but you’ve only seen a small part of what he has to offer.Starting out in Nashville’s fertile singer-songwriter community, Ebel crafted his unique blend of piano rock and electronics in front of the most discerning musical audiences. The melody- and lyric-driven sound helped him build a reputation as both a troubadour and a gifted composer/arranger. 

His songs range from lighthearted ballads about robots and ninjas to soul-baring tales of domestic abuse and self-doubt. No matter what the subject, Ebel’s audiences always leave wanting more. Ebel’s successes in the ever-changing music business have been cited in books by Dave Kusek, Martin Atkins, Simon Tam, and Ariel Hyatt. All of them point to Matthew Ebel for how he connects with his fans, draws in new listeners, and takes music in new directions with changing technology.

This Sunday Sean Gerace from GoAL Publications

Sean started AnthroAquatic Editing in 2011, while working as one of the managers of a smaller Borders Books (chain book retailer now out of business) location, where he managed to actually sell books from the Big 3 furry publishers. While working a multitude of retail jobs (at one point, he was managing the FWG (Furry Writers Guild), running AnthroAquatic, working a full-time job, and working a part-time job), he's been building his skills as a self-taught editor, getting where he is today. Right now he's working with a variety of novel projects, as well as two visual novel projects, while still working full-time retail.

At the end of 2015, I started a webzine entitled A Glimpse of Anthropomorphic Literature (GoAL), and started Goal Publications as a way of hosting it. He had wanted to try his hand at publishing for awhile by this point, and so once the webzine stopped in mid-2016, he opened up to novel/novella submissions.

This Sunday: Fred Patten (19/03/2017)

Aloha Ladies and Gentlefurs!

This Sunday we have the pleasure of having Mr Fred Patten one of the oldest members of the furry fandom with us. W are pre-recording the podcast due to time constraints but we’ve been receiving many questions from some of our fans!

Fred was the official editor of the Rowrbrazzle APA from 1989 to 2005, having joined the APA in 1984. He has also been active in Furthest North Crew and North American Fur, amongst other places.

Fred has been writing furry book reviews since 1962. He was the furry book reviewer for Yarf! (1990-2003), Claw & Quill (2004-2005), Anthro (2005-2008), Renard's Menagerie (2008), Flayrah (2011-present), and "Dogpatch Press" (2014-present) magazines.

Fred was also the founder of the Ursa Major Awards in 2001, and won its award for Best Anthropomorphic Other Literary Work in 2003 for the furry anthology Best In Show. He was inducted in absentia into MiDFur's Furry Hall of Fame in 2011.

Fred was the Fandom Guest of Honor (in absentia) for RainFurrest 2013

their publishing house has been around for about three years, and they've published Kyell Gold, Rukis, Fred Patten, Phil Geusz, and others!

This Sunday Pepper Coyote

The fur behind the music!

This Sunday we have the pleasure of having one of our first musical furs on the podcast!

Pepper has been performing music for 10 years, 5 of which spent in the furry fandom. Since 2011 Pepper has played stairwells, lobbies, hotel rooms, panel rooms, and main events halls from Pittsburgh to San Jose.

Pepper is a singer primarily but also plays guitar, and messes around with a looper. Pepper started collaborating with Scottish musician Fox Amoore and together have released their first album as a duo, called "Hashtag". Check out their CD. We're sure you'll have fun!

ThinkTank Games is an independent studio based in North Dakota that creates tabletop and computer games. They have produced Nordguard: The Card Game, Allison & the Cool New Spaceship Body, Sinister Six-Pack, and coming out July 2017 Lackadaisy: The Card Game.

This Sunday: Chromamancer

This Sunday we have a dragon from America who’s had some very interesting experiences in his years of being a furry.

He’s an artist that has experience in a variety of projects. he mainly produces digital art, but he has worked with leatherwork, 3d printing, animation, and scale mail, to various extents. He’s currently trying to learn and improve his digital painting technique. He was also involved in Nordguard as well as has created several fursuits that are really awesome.

Good evening ladies and gentlefurs! This evening we’re having a bit of podcast-ception. We have a deer joining us this Sunday who’s pretty well in tune with his own form of interviews.

This Sunday: Sorbet creator of Project Aego

This Sunday we have Sorbet, the creator of Project Aego, “a non-linear visual novel game” that is currently on Patreon and up for pledges.

We had Spazzy, who has been working on the artwork for this game on a few months back and we finally managed to get a hold of Sorbet who has accepted our invitation to be on the podcast this Sunday to talk us through the development of the game itself.

This Sunday: Erdwolf!

We have a very special guest this Sunday Evening!

Meet Erdwolf; a well-traveled and slightly eccentric aardwolf from Cape Town, South Africa.  After procrastinating for nearly a decade, in 2016 he finally managed to batten down and finish his locally flavoured anthro science fiction novel.

By chance the manuscript found its way to the desk of GoAL publications in Connecticut, USA.  "When They All Come Together" is due for release early 2017.  (May you live in interesting times?)

This Sunday: Uldar Dragon

He’s a South African Musician who’s recently joined us. We played a bit of his music last week Sunday and suffice it to say we were very impressed.

This Sunday: Iron Wolf Tempest

This Sunday, we have Iron Wolf Tempest, the winner of the youtube-off with another one of youtubers Onyx Raven (who ‘fought’ valiantly!)

And as promised in our previous show we’ll be having Iron Wolf on again, as of printing he’s done two very awkward things which are that he’s taken on the cinnamon challenge and the ghost pepper challenge when he hit 100 subscribers.

He took both challenges in his stride...or at least the start of a stride for the first of the two apparently cinnamon was an enemy he’d rather not have faced. :P
