That evening, Hans was rummaging through his wardrobe. His brows furrowed in confusion because he swore he had his uniform prepared earlier that day. It couldn't have just disappeared, could it?
"Where is it?" He muttered, mostly to himself.
Taking a few steps back, his green eyes scanned the line of clothes hanging on the left side. Perhaps the new perspective would help him find his Admiral jacket that he needed to wear to the Crown Prince's birthday ball. Half of the wardrobe was a mess, and he let out a sigh. He was about to tidy it up, when he heard the bedroom door closing with a thud.
"Elsa, have you seen my—oh," Hans went silent at the sight of his fiancée.
Elsa flashed him a smile, as she made her way across the room. From head to toe, she was all dressed up. Her platinum blonde hair was styled in an up do, leaving a few strands to frame her face quite nicely. A necklace with a snowflake pendant hung around her neck, the sapphire stone perfectly matched her blue nightgown he noticed underneath his blue coat. Right.
"Kære," he was unable to hide his amused smile.
Once she stopped before him, the former queen wounded her arms around his neck and pulled him into a short, chaste kiss. They didn't immediately pull away. Instead, she tenderly rubbed her nose against his, smiling when she felt his arms holding her body close.
"What?" Her big blue eyes glanced up at him rather innocently, as she tilted her head to the side.
"Nothing," Hans smiled, booping her nose. "You're wearing my jacket."
"It's comfortable," the blonde said, moving to clutch the collar, "and warm. Does it not suit me?"
How she managed to sneak his jacket with her, when she got ready in Anna's bedroom, the newly promoted Admiral didn't know. But one thing Hans had to admit was the fact that his fiancée did look good in his jacket—or even any of his clothes, especially on certain occasions. His heart swelled as he saw her smiling face. What kind of question is that?
"There's nothing that doesn't suit you, my love."
And Elsa needed not to ask, for she knew that he meant it.
