Another sad sap has entered the building. Who knew Calum was actually worth something to these people. “Uh…” Cue an awkward pat on the back from the redhead.
Blinks, peering over her shoulder at the demon with a weak smile. "Oh.." What an affectionate back pat, Syn. Maybe it was for the best. If it had been anything but, she probably would have started crying again.
She hasn't left her apartment in days, so who knows what possessed her to think that today was the day to stargaze.
"I know, I kinda just invited myself along, but are you sure you want to even deal with me right now?"
"I don't mind the company, I haven't been feeling the best as of late."
"Yup, and its gotten darker and a bit cooler. I would suggest wearing a jacket."
"Alright." Zips into her room in the blink of an eye to fetch her favourite black leather jacket and throwing it on. "Ready?"

"Actually—they’re recent. New tennants. One’s a vampires, one’s a werewolf and the other is human. It’s a bit odd, but I feel more confortable with some non-human companions. One more apartment before we’ve got a full house now."
"I see.. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take one then."
"I think I still have a couple of things of blood in the cooler in my basement, actually."
"They're probably quite old, don't you think?"
"… you?"
"I haven't fed in a few days, so I wasn't exactly planning on bringing anyone with me."
"Well then, what can we do?"
"Uh.. "we"?"
"Couldn’t you use a sum umbrella, thingy?"
"The sun is too strong today, I tried earlier."

"Ah..It's nice weather like this that makes me wish I could still go outside during the day.."
"Lets be honest, to normal people when hasn’t our friendship been weird. And on that note, when has anything really worked out for us in a good way?" He asked his eyebrows twitching upwards as he plastered a dry smile on his face, before letting it fade back to neutral. "If I’m honest with you I haven’t spent more than an hour with someone without it progressing into—something more intimate, so I’m at a loss of how to entertain you."
"You know.. if I was a teenie tiny bit more intoxicated, I would say yes. Being intimate is great and all, but would that really help us when we're just figuring things out again?" Pleased with how thoughtful that sounded for a drunk woman, she tries to hide the tiny smile that curls at the corners of her lips. "I understand that. I've been.. well. Doing the same." Maybe it was about time she told him about her interest in the same sex as of late. Women were just so much tender during sex, it was a breath of fresh air from the hungry men that she was used to while feeding. "The movie should be fine to keep me entertained for a while."
"No idea, at this time of night, all movie channels will be playing porn." Calum said as he got up and made a cup of coffee for his drunken companion. Handing it to her he sat back down and leaned agains the headrest of the bed with a small chuckle. "Unless you want to watch porn together." He said, rolling his eyes at the thought of watching porn with his ex-bestfriend and ex-fiance. Coughing a little, he took a sip of water from the water bottle that was always placed on his bed side table.
"....." She shoots him a look of confused disgust at his statement, at least being able to pick up the sarcasm in his voice. A dry chuckle rises from the back of her throat as she takes the cup in her hand and runs her fingers over the hot ceramic. "That would end badly for the both of us." She mutters languidly, head leaning back against the headboard as she closes her eyes. "And it would be weird."
"Wrong again, there is a tiny spot, right where the arm meets the body." Calum pointed out, originally he thought of getting a new sofa (he’d gotten rid of at least seven before this one considering all the sex he had on the other ones), but this one was just special to him. He didn’t know why, but he didn’t let it stay a question in his head for too long. "Why are we watching a chick flick? Put some crappy horror movie on so we can compare our actual horrific lives to it and make fun of everything." Calum said, seeing as how this was a thing they had done so many times before, and if he was honest, it was one of his favorite things to do with other supernatural beings (he attempted to do it once with Raph, but, well, Raph was Raph).
"Well... whatever." She dismissively rolls her eyes, all the while withdrawing her arm and tapping the remote against her thigh. A horror movie would have been her first choice, but she was trying to shake things up from their normal old routine. It wasn't working so far. Well, that was what happened when two old souls got together. "Hm. Like what? What channel are they on again?" The female ponders out loud, also wondering if perhaps she has had a little too much wine. The drunkenness would wear off soon enough, thanks to her healing abilities, but for now she was stuck playing it off like she was perfectly fine.
Tossing his pencil on the desk giving up on whatever homework he was doing, he jumped onto the bed next to her. “It’s been six months its not new anymore. Nor is it a bachelor pad. Its just my old kitchen table, the couch you picked out and spilled AB- blood on, the bed’s different though. And instruments. Its a condensed version of my old house, in a studio, above the four three bedroom apartments. Two of which house tenants. I’m making a profit.” He flipped on the TV and passed her the remote.
The vampire shakes the wine glass between her fingers, the reddish contents sloshing back and forth before she takes another small sip. It wasn't blood, but at the very least she could fool herself with the alcohol's colour. A brow perks as she feels the weight of the mattress sink beside her, peeking over at the male before setting her glass down. "Well, well. You've become quite the diligent businessman. --And about the couch, it wasn't my fault. At least I managed to get the stain out." Digits flick through the channel guide, and settling on some cheesy John Green movie before handing the remote back over to him.
"I know, that’s why its weird. Just like you chilling in my house right now."
"I couldn't resist checking out your new place. Or is it a bachelor's pad? It has that new furniture smell to it."
