Okay, I've been gone for a while (and I conveniently forgot about May 4th), but!
I'm trying to organize all my OCs based on the Old Republic, and so far I've come up with a cool scheme. Yes, this is apparently a massive AU, because I replaced some of the characters with my OCs (after all, they're just my own creations, so why not).
I plan to later add characters from DLC and other additional OCs I have (including other playable characters) 😅
What do we have?
In the Sith Empire, besides Wrath (who btw remained Wrath even after the Eternal Empire's invasion) there are the following individuals:
Lagun, as the head of the Sith Doctrine, and his "sort of" apprentice, Darith. Why "sort of"? Because he's actually one of the Sith Lords, whose body was sacrificed and transferred to another.
There's Dexis, who is the head of the Scientific Progress sphere. He's likely been working in biotic research for the entirety of his career and only recently assumed his position. He has a rancor named "Snowball" as a pet and other creepy alchemical Sith lizards. He once stole Darith's holocron (her former body), and now he and Darith are either enemies or lovers (Lagun turns a blind eye to it all because he's simply tired of dealing with all this crap).
There's Hedas (yes, I know that Xarion occupies that position in canon, but... that's just my AU). Hedas is a dubious swordsman, and there are rumors that he was once a Jedi before his fall. But his telekinesis is the best of the Dark Council, as is his ability to delve into other people's minds. The type of person who goes behind enemy lines and now they're behind his back.
Egille is Lana Beniko's "mirror" on the side of the Sith Empire. They've probably known each other for a long time and still keep in touch, because why not?
Werdaas in the Alliance is a whole other story. In my head, Nox once became interested in cloning and growing humans and literally grew him from her DNA. So, theoretically, he could be considered her son, but Force forbid you tell him that (especially since Nox quickly got tired of raising him, so Werdaas spent much of his childhood being raised by anyone (probably Hedas, lol). A questionable young man.
What I laugh at most is that in my head, Nox has slept with half the characters, including Master Noxis and Malgus at least once. And she's probably still sleeping with the Sith Empire Chancellor.
What Acina thinks about this is unclear, but I think she's aware of it, and this is another way to tie the Alliance closer to the Empire (she'll be surprised if she finds out about the Jedi and Malgus, lol).
Maybe I'll write more about this, maybe not. But for now, I'll leave it as is))

Alright... let's say Kallig shamelessly expropriated Malgus' fleet after defeated him, the one he gathered for his new Empire. Let’s say she hid it somewhere.

Malgus: The Empire's Silencers.
And considering the backstory, it’s twice as funny now, because in my head, it looks like Malgus getting revenge on Nox at this moment 🤣

OK, I have a few questions about your angle on the nature of the Dark Side if that’s OK? Honestly the exact nature of the Dark Side is somewhat difficult to fully understand- even more so outside of the official “canon”- so when people come up with explanations I want to make sure I fully understand them.
So you said that Sith Lords tend to draw upon specific emotions for their power- with Kallig drawing upon her passion, or her love of life as it sounded like when you were more specific. My question here is that since the Dark Side is inherently corrupting, how does Kallig’s passion change her? As in, how is her mentality different from what she’d be like in a world where she wasn’t force sensitive or didn’t turn to the Dark Side?
Secondly, the Sith are generally more attuned to aggressive feelings because the Dark Side is the more naturally aggressive Side of the Force. How would a Sith like your Kallig, who doesn’t draw upon anger or hatred or anything more naturally inclined to combat, call upon her full strength in a fight? Or does she draw upon other emotions in such contexts? I must confess that I didn’t quite follow when you said “as a rule, additional emotions ignite fuel rather than being its source”.
And as for my last query (for now), what emotion(s) does Scorian use most to draw upon the Dark Side, and how is he affected by it? It doesn’t look like you mentioned that.

Interesting question. Honestly, I've almost never considered Kallig without "her dark side," because it's such a big part of her character. But I think if Kallig hadn't become a Sith, she would have been a phlegmatic and very calm person, willing to help, but not for free and only within the limits of her own capabilities and interests. A sort of gray character with her own skeletons in the closet, but without going overboard.
The dark side makes her more explosive, and her actions (despite being rational by Sith standards) more insane. She constantly mocking those around her, irritating them. She is definitely much more narcissistic. She exhibits traits of an adrenaline junkie—she sometimes deliberately puts herself in danger that push her to the brink. Moreover, at the beginning of her journey, she could deliberately choose less-than-optimal (but more profitable) solutions to problems, disregarding the potential loss of allies. In this regard, Ashara and her meeting and apprenticeship with Satele during the conflict with the Eternal Empire greatly balanced her. And after absorbing Valkorion's ghost, she became much calmer, at least outwardly.
I think her two main ways of breaking down are either doing crazy things (like making advances toward Jedi or having relationships with one) or planning adventures that seem impossible at first glance and aren't always necessary (she once tried to find a star map left by Revan, simply because she wanted to 😅).

I have a funny idea that since Kallig draws inspiration from a passion for life, she needs to constantly be under some kind of threat to stay motivated. That's why, unlike everyone else, she usually wears a dress or cloth rather than armor (she's a psycho, what can you expect).
Sith can definitely use a wider range of emotions in combat, but depending on the primary one, the motive for fueling the "fuel" can vary. Ultimately, everything comes down to a "motive" for harming others.
Kallig fights on adrenaline and the desire to protect herself, further fueled by the desire to spite and humiliate others. These are rather complex and intricate emotions that primarily feed her ego.
Irritation can transform into anger at others for distracting her.
If a Sith operates on guilt, then anger at oneself can also serve as "fuel."
Sadness and grief are the most unstable and complex in this regard, and depending on the cause of the sadness, there must always be something that compels you to pick up your sword and shred your opponent. For example, sadness can transform into anger at oneself for something, or into hatred towards others who don't care about your misfortune.
And naturally, a Sith can always be provoked, and they will use this "anger" as fuel.
"As a rule, additional emotions fuel the fire, not the source." - this is a quote from the official explanation of how the dark side works on the wiki. The primary emotions are anger, hatred, and so on, and all others are simply supplementary fuel that can't serve as the primary source. I have a slightly different concept: anger and hatred are the most powerful fuel, which you'll often draw on in battle, but you can build your everyday life around other emotions as well. Pain, by the way, is also an excellent fuel. Many Sith use Pain as their primary or close to primary emotion.

Oh yes, while I have a lot of headcanons for Kallig and the Barsen'thor, I don't have many for Scorian yet. I think Scorian's primary emotions are Anger and Irritation. But I don't have much justification for this yet, because I'm still figuring out how Scorian will fit and function within the overall universe and all my headcanons.

Given the large number of interpretations of the Sith in various sources (including fan sources), I couldn't pass it by and decided that I would summarize what personally attracts me to the dark side and why I love the characters of the Sith. Let's start with the codex.:
"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me"
All my Sith usually have one or more fundamental emotions from which they build their use of the Force. The most popular emotions are usually Anger, Hatred, Pain, and Passion. But there is actually another pack)
The emotion should be strong, but not always deliberately negative. For example, shame, fear, etc. can be used as the main emotion. (Sadness also works, but such Sith slip into depression and do not live long, lol). Yes, as a rule, additional emotions ignite fuel rather than being its source, but these are my headcannons, why not)
Sith, by choosing one or more fundamental emotions, build their consciousness so that they experience this emotion more often. Hence, there are periodic bouts of rage, for Sith who focus on anger (and you can figure out for yourself what kind of attacks Sith have with the main emotion of passion xD).
On the other hand, by realizing the basic emotion that feeds their dark side, the Sith learn to control it and “assimilate” it, transform it into Power.
A Sith without control is not a Sith at all. In my head, the self-control of the Sith should be an order of magnitude higher than that of the Jedi, especially in a critical situation (unless you're completely knocked out, of course). In some cases, a sith can “let go of the leash” - then their emotions run wild to gain a little more power, but if you remain in this state constantly, you'll get nothing but a complete meltdown.
Corruption of the dark side is a consequence of “undigested", uncontrolled emotions. Just during periods of seizures. For the most part, Sith can look quite normal (with the exception of yellow eyes), but full-fledged corruption (white skin, black veins, caps bursting in their eyes, etc.) is a sign that they are about to "explode".
Thus, the Sith are also people (well, or Alien, depending on the species). Their experiences and moral limitations are shaped by a society that strange and not the friendliest, nevertheless exists and does not fall apart. In the SWTOR canon, there are also Sith lineages (i.e., there's a Sith Lord with a wife and child, lol) and quite adequate personalities who don't flash lightning right and left. Naturally, compared to the Jedi, their moral framework is greatly... uh, expanded, let's say. But that doesn't make them completely insane.
What about the academy on Korriban, you might say. Half the people there are nuts))
And I'll say that the academy was created for such fuckers. In the case of Nox, no one took her/him seriously according to canon until she pummeled the Sith Lords. Until the end of the second act, she was expendable, first for the mentor, then for Zash, and even for a while for Thanaton, who apparently thought that she/he was just lucky. (And then she fucked him up, and he had to admit her/his merits)).
As for the Sith warrior, from what I remember, the environment was still difficult, but not so beaten down. And they could even scold him for excessive cruelty there once (i do this quest a long time ago, so I don't remember exactly, but it seemed there was something like that)
Let's move on - emotions are the fuel that Sith use to gain power.
The last lines of the code in my vision, as well as what the Sith strive for in my interpretation - are freedom. First of all, from the limitations of their own minds - from the need to hate some applied object (themselves, enemies, people, life, etc.), from guilt for inner motives, from conflict between personality and emotions, from emotional fluctuations.
In general, this is a way to manage yourself perfectly, regardless of external circumstances, and use Force in all its splendor. And considering that in order to achieve this, it would also be good to give up worldly attachments and restrictions. So... it fits perfectly into the concept (at least in my head). They seem to have achieved transcendence.
It's worth saying that this is exactly the interpretation of the code that Kallig and a couple of other of my characters adhere to. And also, that each Sith interprets the codex and especially its last lines in their own way.
And this is generally exactly what distinguishes the Sith code from the Jedi code in my opinion. On the bright side, everything is more ... mmm, meaningful to the masses. And the interpretation of the codex is more verified. Each Sith, in general, can have its own “freedom from chains.”

Well, well, well... so we've finally reached the Sith Warrior, whose image I've been struggling to wrap my head around for a long time. I've actually walkthrough his plot before, but I'm in the process of replaying it now, so I think the headcanons will be updated later.
His name is Sanax Eldran
He received the title Darth Scorian
The son of another powerful Sith. The Eldran are a dynasty, including, among others, Sith close to the Dark Council
He was raised by his uncle because his father was killed during the war, and his mother fled to the Jedi immediately after his birth
Contrary to the canonical plot, he's quite the aesthete and a little bookworm. Seriously, he's the kind of person who would read a book on a datapad while someone else writhes in agony nearby, simply because he found a passage that captivated him
He probably has a brother or sister. Or something like that, I'll have to think about that later
As you've already figured out, I like cheerful people, so he's a cheerful Sith
He wasn't originally supposed to go to the academy on Korriban and serve under Darth Baras. He trained on Ziost, and his family originally planned for him to serve under another Dark Council member
He himself was hoping to get a place in either the Pyramid of Secrets or the Pyramid of Ancient Knowledge
Before going to Korriban, he knew Kallig only in absentia (According to my headcanons and chronology, Kallig had already held a seat on the Dark Council for 11 years by that point)

He pretends to be as dumb as a stick, because it makes him twice funnier

Cruel, but not excessively so. Much harsher than Kallig in his decisions

Kallig later told him how she tried to marry Rehanna Rist to the Jedi Nomar Organa and try to attend their wedding—have you ever seen a Sith laugh? Now you have

I'm one of those people who comes up with a design faster than the rationale and all that. So, I never fully thought out the lore of this… creature… (even though it's been a while since season 1, lol)
Her name is Belial (she/her or they/their, depending on who's talking to her). When I originally designed her, I thought she'd be from the 20s or 30s.
Fun facts:
the black ribbon holds her hair and is wrapped around her neck (like a choker). Whether this is convenient is left out of the picture х)
She clearly drinks, because why not?
She can sing and sometimes performs in Mimzy club
She's on good terms with Alastor, Mimzy, and the rest of the Mimzy Club crowd
Alastor refers to her as she/her, though Mimzy is they/them (Alastor's just not particularly gender-specific, that's also a headcanon)

She has a creepy-crawly form where she's a big black puddle with extra arms and a glowing star on her forehead.

For those who've read my SI headcanons, this might not be a secret anymore, but in my head, Kallig is kinda of a Mary Sue. Overpowered, smart, and since she is my main character, the main events revolve around her (especially with the Eternal Empire), lol.
And it's also fun, yeah! Because the reaction of those around her is literally: well, if she goes crazy, the galaxy is fucked.
