The soviet didn’t even flinch nor moved from his seat, instead he kept staring at Alexei with his usual stern expression for a little longer until the smell of the cigarette hit his nose. He cringed at it before standing up to turn off the music player without saying a word. Seriously, how could this guy tolerate that bunch of messy sounds and barely comprehensible voices he called music? Although it wasn’t as if Konstantin was any better, but he’d never let anyone know he had his guilty pleasures.

“it’s not the first time you have them this loud at this hour” he finally turned to Alexei, still putting the stern expression although he was at the edge of a withdrawal. Two weeks without alcohol was a record for him.
