    She’s trying not to geek out as she studies the bird      from afar; hearing the variety of elaborate calls and songs and      predicting what it was going to do next was a fun little thing for      her. And being a lover of animals, it was hard for her not to      get engrossed in birdwatching.                                   It was, for her, one of the easiest hobbies to                                   take part in.

     The moment she heard a distinctive voice from what she assumed was a Galra soldier, her heart raced in guilt. The other happened to appear from out of the corner while Pidge was ready to strike, thinking that the other was a sentry– which led to this situation.

     “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” She waved her hands with one of them holding her bayard. “I heard footsteps, so I thought it was an enemy. I really didn’t mean to!”

      “ Well that was a lucky shot, I’m trying not to       get myself killed. “ Ellanora mumbled, her voice more hushed as       she glances around. The gatasaur steps further into the violet light,       showing her figure before she ducks along the wall again. “ I’m       assuming from your small size, bipedal build and lack of a tail that       you’re human, and not Galra, right? “              She peers over her shoulder slightly, claws reaching for one of              her swords which was sheathed in its scabbard. “ I got guards              lookin’ for me. I dunno about you but in tend on leaving this scrap              of a ship with all my arms, legs, and tail attached. “
