hello lovelies. this is a general compilation of drabbles and such for things I have worked on! this page is a massive wip. I'm essentially working to get my stuff off facebook and to compile it here.

This was ridiculous. Totally unreasonable. This....girl...comes along and suddenly Dick became some sort of doting guardian.

There was no reason for her to be clinging to him and following him like a love sick puppy.

So why did it bother Damian so much? It's not like he liked Molly or anything, hell he was against her being allowed to stay in the manor at all. She posed a threat to everything they worked so hard to hide.

She'd been caught stealing from them, and if Damian had it his way, she'd be back out on the streets.

"Dami, why don't you take buttercup into the garden?" Dick called from across the dining room table. "I'm sure she would enjoy being taken around."

Damian huffed and looked away, "why don't you do it?? Where exactly is She? Shouldn't you be with the little theif?" He grumbled as he pushed his eggs around his plate. Why couldn't she be normal and eat like the rest of them? Why did it bother him??

Dick sighed softly and shook his head, "waking her up too early is dangerous. She spooks easily, and I don't want to pay for repairs to the house," He said simply. "Besides, she doesn't eat much. Just take her outside today, get to know her. Damian, she thinks you hate her."

"I do!"

"Damian! You know she can't help her circumstances. Don't you feel bad? She's this way because of Wayne enterprises. Last time I checked...you're the only biological Wayne here..." Dick snapped angrily at the younger boy, whom flinched at the sudden outburst.

Of course Damian didn't hate Molly. And of course he felt bad...but why did it have to be his job to take care of her? Why did he want to?

Growling softly Damian pushed his plate away and stood from his seat, "fine. I will spend some time with her in the garden..but don't expect me to hold her hand or coddle her like you do." He huffed.

"Don't lie, you know you want to. Maybe if ypure lucky she'll give you a kiss on the cheek for being such a gentleman." The older boy teased playfully earning a deep blush from the robin.

"I do not! I am simply doing this as a favor to you!" Damian hastily responded as he stormed out of the room.

"Dear, you're being horribly nonsensical about all this. Listen to me when I say that there are better options." Hearing your own voice chastise you for rebelling was one thing, but laying on the ground with a broken nose and the taste of your own blood was ridiculous.

Glaring up at her own likeness Celes bristled with anger. "So what? You want me to become some puppet to a maniacal computer program?! Kill my friends? Forsake my family?! Fat chance eight....I'd rather die then give up the legacy my father fought to reclaim." She hissed softly feeling her ribs give a dull ache as she tried to move.

"Typical...you sound like daddy dearest. And to think I jumped universes to get to you...to make you realize your potential. Family is such an out dated notion, and when it boils down to it, brainiac is your family." Brainiac 8 sneered softly as she pushed her golden locks away from her face. Stepping around the limp bodies of Bart and Garfield she smirked softly as she kicked Roy sharply in the ribs. "Lover boy here doesn't look so good...perhaps you should give him a kiss and wake him up."

"Don't you touch him!"

8 smirked at that and laughed softly. It was almost hard to believe that she was Celes and Celes was her. "Dearest, sweetest little flamefly...you really are the cutest. I'll let you in on a little secret...It's not hard. Killing the ones you love. My first kill was innocent little Ca'el. He begged so sweetly for me to spare him...my second kill was dear old dad. Querl was easy enough to overpower...after all...he gave up his cybernetics to be a doting human husband," 8 cackled bitterly as she remembered the incident "daddy dearest was last. He had been so angry, threatened to kill me...but he just couldn't do it...aurelianite is one hell of a stone. See, we didn't have enough Aurelian in us for it to take hold, but Gideon was just the right amount. I'm sure you recall that massive brute I brought with me when I arrived?" She paused as she watched Celes. "Well...let's just say his heart went out to you. Must be hard knowing this universe provided the perfect family. Bet he wished you were his daughter instead of me...shame, because technically you are me!"

Tears slowly fell from Celes' eyes as her head dropped in shame. How could someone be so cruel? How could she kill them and then subject her father to that torture? It was sick and twisted.

Cold hands cupped Celes' chin raising her head to look up and her eyes to meet 8's crazed stare. "Now, I have such exciting plans for you...dear old brainiac has been dying to meet you."

The screen flickered a bit before displaying a close up of someone's chest as they fiddled with the old fashioned camera.

“is it working? Querl, I have no idea how to run this.” a voice said softly as the camera panned up to show a very tired looking man with long raven black hair and fair skin. His eyes were a deep hazel, almost looking green.

“Gideon, stop playing with that. Clark gave it to us to record the baby, not you.” another voice rang.

The camera shook and shifted as it was turned to face a green skinned man with deep emerald green eyes and blonde hair. In his arms he held a small bundle of blankets of which he looked down lovingly at.

“I'm sure Clark won't mind seeing my handsome mug. Besides this isn't for him, it’s for baby Celes,” the camera moved closer to the bundle revealing a small green child, staring out at the world with wide eyes “Hey beautiful girl. Look at you, you're wonderful in every way shape and form. You are going to be so loved and cared for...and you'll never feel alone or unwanted. They're all going to love you just like we do.” He added with a soft coo as he reached to gently touch an out reached tiny palm.

“Gideon, what on earth is this for?” Querl asked softly as he looked up from the baby and into the camera.

“I think I'll keep it until her wedding, then I'll pull it out and give it as a gift from us.”

“and if she never marries?”

“then I'll give it to her when the time is right. So! That being said I'm going to give some crucial life advice, yes I am. Daddy’s gonna teach you so much! Kuz daddy number two is a stick in the mud!” Gideon cooed with a gentle laugh earning a frustrated sigh from the other man.

The camera shook again as it was moved to a stand to face both of the men.

The taller man, Gideon beamed at his husband and daughter before looking into the camera, “Hey kiddo! So this is us! The beginnings of our happy little family. You know, we had to jump through quite a few hoops to get you here...and after all that you're more beautiful then I ever could have imagined. You look just like your father...well minus the wings, Querl insisted you have some Aurelian traits, but for the most part you are the perfect combination of the two of us. Coluan and Aurelian brought together in one special little package. You really are miraculous!” He laughed softly.

Querl looked up from the baby and leaned against Gideon, to which he responded by pulling the other man closer by the waist.

Now it seemed like the other wished to speak, “there is something else you should know...the Dox family is displeased that you exist, but no matter what you are precious. You will encounter those that will label you brainiac by default, but you are not our ancestor. I fought along side many brave heroes, including your god father, Clark. I did so under the name brainiac 5, and I have fought ever since to reclaim that name. Because brainiacs don't have to follow one’s rule. Precious, you can be anything your heart desires...because you are not Coluan or Aurelian. You are something new and wonderful...we love you so much a--”

The tape was cut off there.

In the dark room, illuminated by the faint glow of the tv, sat Celes. Knees pulled up against her chest and head resting on her knees.

“I love you too dads...I just wish I were as wonderful as you had hoped for… uncle Clark sure doesn't seem to think so.” She muttered into the darkness, her voice heavy with tears. Looking up at the screen she leant to touch the smiling faces of her parents. “I just want to go home…” she sobbed as she fell to the floor, hugging her father’s lab coat and inhaling the scent to try and calm herself down.

No matter how she looked at it, the 21st century was no place she could ever call home. She just wanted her family back.

"Hey future girl. Haven't seen ya around the team." The call caused Celes to jump slightly. With a sigh she turned to see Bart standing there in all his goofy glory.

"Future boy...I didn't expect you to be here...mostly because I've been avoiding you all like the plague..." She mumbled softly. "Yellow really isn't your color by the way, no offense." She added with a soft chuckle as she looked back down to the streets below.

Bart stood there for a second and plopped down on the ledge beside her, "he's not mad you know...your dads were his friends, and as far as Connor goes, I think he just misses that little lightning bug that followed him around. Neither of the supers blame you." He said simply, becoming a bit more serious then she was used to. "You're scared, and things are different for you. Your little brother is now your older brother, you've essentially gone rouge with a one armed maniac, and you're scared you'll never get home. It's scary stuff...but you know, you have people to talk to...there's me. And Jaime, but mostly me because I love you more."

"No offense....but being around a couple right now would make me want to puke. Arsenal decided I was slowing him down, told me to get lost. He...he wasn't happy I made that deal with Luthor." Celes uttered as she hugged her arms tightly. It hurt knowing she confessed to someone she loved and then he turned on her. Like he couldn't understand what it's like to feel desperation and seek out ways to solve the problem.

"Cell...I'm sorry. Listen, I'm not going to force feed you nonsense about opening up. I do want you to know that future kids have to stick together. If you ever need me give me a call. I'll always come running." The joke was about as bad as his shit eating grin, but it made the Aurelian coluan half breed laugh.

"Well, considering who you are that makes me feel better. I just...I wish things weren't so complicated. I just wanted Roy to trust me, and now he hates my guts...I must be cursed with love."

"Aw, come on. You're not cursed. Gar still thinks you're cute. And let's face it, you are. I mean look at you! 31st century perfection right there! Beautiful! Excuse me miss, but you must be a model or something kuz you're blowing my mind!" Bart made an exaggerated pose to display his point and it earned a giggle from the other hero.

"Bart stop! You're acting like an idiot!" She said between giggles as she held her sides to stop the dull throb growing from her fit of laughter.

"Can't help it! You're the closest thing to a sister I have. I mean it, if you need me I'm there. Future girl, you have my blade."

Smiling a bit at his cheesy referance Celes nodded, "thanks future boy..." She smiled softly as she leant against his shoulder gently, allowing him to wrap an arm around her to comfort her a bit.

"Celes Elara Lockley!" The booming voice made Celes jump, causing her to spill her drink over her chest.

With a growl she snatched the napkin away from Garfield who gave her a silent look of knowing. It had been like this for weeks since superman found out about the deal she made with Lex, and since then the league member had been breathing down her neck every second of every day.

It made him worry for her, if just a little bit. But on the bright side she was spending more time at HQ and he got to see her nearly every day now.

Watching her stand and walk away while wiping her chest off he sighed deeply. Times like these made the shifter wish he had it in him to confess. After all he'd never seen anyone like her before.

Perfect green skin, bright eyes, hair that made him want to run his hands through and play with (though he knew she'd never allow that. As relaxed as she was her hair was still a massive no touch zone.).

A whistle made beast boy jump slightly, and upon further inspection he saw Bart leaning on the couch with a raised eye brow.

"So, you tell her?" The speedster chided playfully. "C'mon man! Cute girl from the future, over baring parental figure, lonely attitude...she's yours for the taking come padray."

"Do you talk that way in front of Jaime?" Garfield asked as he raised an eyebrow slightly. For a guy dating someone who speaks fluent Spanish Bart butchered the language more then anyone else he'd ever known.

"Naturally. Baby boy blue loves it. But we're not talking about me. Tell her how you feel man! Celes is practically crying out for someone to sweep her off her feet! And you'd treat her better than lover boy Roy ever could!" Bart blinked a few times before leaning in close to Garfield. "Surprise her, ask for a kiss or something she wouldn't ever expect from you! Trust me, she'll fall head over heels for you!"

The slamming of a fist into a door alerted Bart that it was his cue to leave, "think about it!" He managed to say before flitting off.

Celes stomped into the room in a rage, "can you believe the nerve of him?! As if I can't handle myself captain bird ass has to go and tell uncle fat head about my insubordination! I mean who does he think he is, calling me by my full name...i have two dad's! I don't need a third!" She growled as she flopped down next to Garfield, sitting a bit closer to him then she had been before. With a fluid motion she wrapped her arms around his midsection and nuzzled into his shoulder causing him to blush deeply and look away.

Sure they'd cuddled before, in fact every movie night Celes was the first to snatch up a seat beside Garfield with a blanket ready for keeping warm. It seemed to be a friendship kind of thing for her. He had no way of telling her that it meant more to him then he let on.

Complying with her new demand for cuddles he placed the bowl of popcorn down and shifted to give her better access, to which she responded by nuzzling into the crook of his neck.

"Gar," She began as she closed her eyes gently. "How come you're all stiff?" She asked sweetly, the concern lining her voice.

"No reason...it's cold in here don't you think? Maybe I should get a blanket." He stuttered softly as he moved to stand, only to be held down by an exhausted Celes.

"Shut up and cuddle me, you weirdo. If anything it's warm in here."

With a sigh he settled back down and looked down at her calm expression. With trembling hands he moved to run his fingers through soft golden locks. They felt exactly as they looked, and the sound she made in approval egged him to continue his ministrations of affection.

He wouldn't tell her now, he could wait just a bit longer for her.

"Tell me where he is Celes." Barry's voice flitted into her ears earning a soft whine from the coluan hybrid.

"Dunno. Don't care. Thawne ditched me back in Colorado." She breathed as she put her feet up and giving the idiot across from her a look of pure boredom.

Leaning to tug at the chains lightly she growled before reaching for the cup of water placed on the table infront of her. "What makes you think Eobard would come for me? You know the nature of our relationship. My business is his pleasure." She said softly as she took a sip and shot him a knowing glare

"Celes, listen. I get it. You want to go home and you want to get back at Clark. Trust me, I get it. Bit Eobard Thawne isn't someone you use." Barry sighed as he ran a hand over her face earning a soft laugh from the girl across from him.

"Honey, I've never once used him. On the contrary...I let him use me."

Barry paled visibly as he tore his eyes from her. "I don't want to know about your little arrangement."

"Who said anything about our bedroom arrangement? Darling, I'm just stalling long enough." Raising her hands and showing her cuffs had been freed she snickered a bit. "Should have let Clark deal with me. He's naturally immune to Aurelian auras." She explained as Barry had been seized and knocked out by a man in yellow and red. "You're late." She hissed.

"Baby doll, don't be so bitter. You know how much I like to make you wait for it." He purred as he moved to yank her to his chest. "What kind of man would I be if I didn't come save my favorite lady?"

"Eobard Thawne. That's what kind of man you'd be." Celes stated as she lazily draped her arms around his neck.

"Baby...you're gonna hurt my feelings that way. Besides. I brought a gift for my pretty little princess." With that he displayed a chip she recognized as a back up for the first brainiac. With a soft gasp she jumped and hugged him with a squeal "ebby! I knew you wouldn't let me down!" She chirped happily as she nuzzled into him earning a gentle rumble from the much larger man.

"Anything to see that pretty little smile. Besides...I love seeing how you work. It's like art in motion."

"You're such a dork!"

"Easy baby girl. You're gonna hurt my feelings."

"If I do this for you...you'll give me what I need? No strings attached?" Celes asked the image of a bald headed man with a determined look in his eyes.

"But of course. My alliance with brainiac still stands. As a distant relative you are more then welcome to any and all information I have on him." The man, Lex Luthor said simply with a smirk that screamed deception. She'd grown up along side Threx Ranzz, she could smell a snake from a mile away, but she had no other choices. She had to get back, had to save her family. She had to stop brainiac from ruining the life she'd lived before she came here.

"And...all I have to do is one favor for you when you ask?" It was a deal with the devil and she knew it.

"Presicely. This deal will trickle down from me to each generations of luthors. One of my future family members will contact you when needed. After that, no strings attached." He nearly purred as he spoke to her, and it made Celes uncomfortable to no end, but what else could she do? Kicked from the team for trying to get information on her ancestor, and without superman or Connor to help her she was a fish out of water. And forget talking to Roy about this. Arsenal was many things, but understanding of alternative means to an end is not one of those things.

Sighing deeply she shook her head, "and after that...you can promise me it won't involve the legion or my fathers? I don't want your help if I have to throw them to the dogs...dad would have a fit if he even knew I was speaking to you..." she murmured softly as she hugged her chest lightly.

"Your father sounds like quite the intelligent man, I presume you're speaking of the brainiac? What you must ask yourself is if you're willing to be a good girl and do as your daddys tell you, in which case you stay put...never to see them or your adorable little brother again...or You can be your own hero. Save the day, and get back all you had lost. The choice is yours my dear girl...there is no pressure for you to say yes." Lex smoothly input, causing her to scowl lightly.

"I'll do it..." Celes said simply as she looked at her feet. "But not a word of this to anyone luthors! I need you about as bad as a head cold...if you strain my relationship with superman and superboy any further I'll cut ties and the deal is off."

"My dear girl, my dear, dear firefly...i would expect nothing more. Now then, shall we begin our business? I'm sending the coordinates to the device you now hold in your hand. The labs will be unlocked and you will have full reign of any information I might have. It was a pleasure meeting you miss Lockley, we really must do this again some time." And with that the screen flickered before going black, leaving Celes to deal with the regret pooling in her stomach at the idea of her having to betray what she believed in just to do what's right.
