Hi all!
I was just wondering if anyone else explains their kin-ness by way of spiritual or religious means? And how they do so?
I pretty much feel like that's where I'm going to go when I die? like once my time on earth is done, I can spend time in space where I'm supposed to be and just sort of... reflect. like being a human is only a middle stage in it and space is my soul's final destination.

as for my space kintype, I believe I was created in space (born from a nebula), so it's essentially my birthplace! for my other kintypes, I just have a strong spiritual connection with them

for me, i just sort of have a connection with it, like looking at space related things is a comfort to me and i feel similar to it. one of my alters (neptune) who’s also spacekin/starkin, believes she is actually from another planet or is like a fallen star. it’s actually connected to her religious beliefs. idk im ranting i just think its rlly cool all the different ways someone can be spacekin !!

since this is a spacekin blog, does anyone want to share their stories? discovering you were spacekin/celestialkin, experiences you’ve had with it, things you identify with more than other and why, or just anything else you’d like to share about your kintype? it might be a silly idea, but I thought we should all chat!
while I’m here, I can say that I only discovered I was spacekin really recently. my datefriend said she had suspected it for a while because of the way that I act around space-related things and subjects, so it made a lot of sense to both of us. since then, I’ve figured out that I’m nebulakin, galaxykin, and starkin! I actually really enjoyed figuring out this part of myself because I’m much more in touch with what makes me happy now. whenever I’m anxious I can sift through the space/spacekin tags and see beautiful pictures of my home, listen to other people, and feel more connected than I ever have to space. I haven’t really shared it publicly yet since I know a lot of people hate on otherkin, but I’m really glad that I learned this about myself!
if anyone wants to add their experiences, feel free!

Squid’s Introduction
Greetings all!
I’ll jump of the band wagon and introduce myself:
My kin name is Squid (but I go by Kris as well, so if Squid is weird to you, feel free to call me Kris). I’m a 22 autistic college student studying writing and anthropology. I use xe/xim pronouns (he/him is also ok, but I want to try and ease into using the other ones). I call myself genderqueer or genderfluid, but I think it’s more accurate to call myself “alien gender” because I think that wherever I’m from has a completely different gender schema than the one here. I consider myself some form of masculine androgynous.
My kintypes are nebulakin, alienkin, and tech/robot/ai/androidkin. I identify with, but not as, squidkin, dragonkin, and glitchkin. I also really like the aesthetic of voidkin, but don’t feel any sort of kinship with that identity. I call myself a starseed too because my kin identities have a lot to do with spirituality for me and “starseed” encapsulates that more completely, at least in my opinion.
My kin blog is sparkself despite the fact that my main blog will most likely show up here. I also have an autism blog and a cyber wixcraft one, so if you’re interested in knowing any of those URL’s you can let me know!
I’m really into science fiction, especially having to do with aliens or robots. I’m just coming down off of a special interest high on Star Trek, so being without an interest now is rather disconcerting. But I’m getting into Mass Effect these days, so hopefully that will replace Star Trek one of these days.
