They just done like nothing ever happened while Sora didn't trust them AT ALL (and that was clearly the worst thing to do, it made her suffer and i don't want to see my baby Sora suffer).
And NOW, we'll talk about the last episode. It made me crash out so bad! Okay they're royalist, yes. BUT they could stay and try to repairs everything with her. Is it what they done? NO THEY LEAVE HER AGAIN!!! With a letter but that still not okay, at least they could talk to her, say that they're sorry BUT NO HAHA!!! THAT'S TOO SIMPLE !!!
All her life, her parents wasn't there for her, and when they finally could, they just do it again ! Arin's parents had literally treat her better in few minutes on the screen than her own parents during all her life!

^ akita? it has her cloak design with the four tails, but its a vastly different colour compared to s11. maybe she changed the cloak/mask colour?
do we think fritz may return??? maybe this will be a character point from cole with the finders finding their homes over the seasons
^ land bounty? we haven't seen that since s11, when it was destroyed by boreal in the final push to the castle of ice. maybe akita and kataru found it and rebuilt it?

the weapon felt off when i first watched- and it seems like the "eyes" are now glowing? it didn't do that before- when beatrix/arin/cole wielded it, it only fully glowed when in use; summoning monsters, commanding them, or just shooting energy or whatever. did he do something to it? is he a "rightful user" or something?

^ hypnobrai, it lines up with the headmold and chest pattern of mezmo, however the hand colour is different from mezmo or spitz. other hypnobrai's like in imperium as background characters have this blue hand so i dont think hes important (i may eat these words)

the ice is yellow. WHY IS IT YELLOW. maybe zilver or something else evil is behind the ice??? because im still caught up on the ice, especially since its seen emerging.

So this is my own headcanon but i like to imagine that Delara is in Nya's family line (like a lot of people ik but let me explain).
So she was the sister of Maya's mother, few time before her sister annonced she was pregnant, Delara join Nadakhan on his ship and became his girlfriend (he never has infinite wishes before married Nya so he couldn't be married to Delara). Not as long before Maya birth, Soto and his pirates captured Nadakhan and killed Delara.
Her family heard about her death some days after Maya birth. They decided to never talk about her existence to the newborn and future elemental master of water (probably because of the shame of having a pirate daughter in couple with a djin). That's why Maya never knew about her aunt and couldn't tell about her aunt to her childs before leave them.
This explain why Nya is the exact portrait of Delara and why Nadakhan believed she was her dead girlfriend (that absolutely not excuse what he do to her and the ninja) .

Some appearance headcanons:
Old design: I decided to depict her in her classic red kimono outfit she used to wear at the beginning of the show, but I spiced it up with decorative fragments borrowed from her kabuki disguise and some subtle armor pieces to symbolise her role as samurai X.
New design: tried to make her look slightly older and taller to show time has passed since the beginning of the show till now. She is fully realised as a ninja, but I still like the idea of Nya wearing heavier armor pieces from time to time. She was so used to the samurai getup, she genuinely works best when there is something heavy on her to balance her movements out. She is also incredibly strong physically, so it doesn't restrict her in any way. Took her a long time till master Wu allowed her to modify her outfits, but you can't argue with the results. Her outfit is inspired by many little titbits taken out of some of her canon designs - just a big mash of all the fragments I liked best.
Shoulder protection: there is an armor piece dedicated fully to protecting Nya's weaker shoulder - the one she injured at the end of season 9. For some reason this one injury has stuck me for her so now I headcanon that even though she fully recovered, that shoulder has never been as strong as it used to be. So she doesn't take any chances. Also sometimes she can still feel phantom pangs and pains reminding her of the injury, especially when the weather is bad.
Eyes and body: I headcanon Nya with gorgeous chocolate brown eyes, that gain just a tiny little blue accent to them after Seabound. Being the ocean for a year has its consequences and she's lucky she didn't come back any worse from that experience. Speaking of lasting effects I am a big fan of the headcanon that Nya has those faint flowy scars all over her now - another reminder of what she sacrificed and what she could have become.
