Instead of removing her hand once he satisfied her question, she kept it there. Lotus was here, as she could sense turmoil within her Tenno, but the Cephalon was also an extension of Korah. Thus, he fell under her protection and care when the situation called for it. Hopefully once she calmed the Operator, the shipâs AI would follow.
â Fate changes much. Many have tried to sway its control, for their own benefit or to prevent calamity. In the end, it merely continues on without respite. Perhaps I can be of service.. â
Tender steps took her to the ramp that would bring her into the heart of the Orbitor, yet she paused, looking back to the Cephalon in silent inquiry. While her title held much power in the Origin System, she was not one to squander it.
âThat is what Cephalon Pollux has tried to tell her, but she would not listen. She refuses.â He halfheartedly floated after the Tennoâs mother, âAh, I should warn you that she might have locked the door. She has made it clear to Pollux that she wants to be left alone. N-not to worry! I will unlock it now!â When she looked back at him, he sort of froze, looking for an escape before surrendering. âI-uhâyes..I suppose that I should come along as well..â Was his awkward sign of permission to proceed.
Entering the Transference Chamber, there would be an interesting sight. Not the displays that littered the walls and ceilings, the ayatan statues that wiggled and waved, Rellâs donda humming peacefully, not even the empty chair. In one of the furthest corners was a lump of pillows and colorful blankets, all bought from Cetusâ stalls and vendors. It was quite clear that someone was under it all, as a bright green Adarza Kavat was curled up on top. Fennec-like ears twitched at Lotusâ approach and it lifted itâs head. Giving a yawned meow it leaped down and padded towards her.
She noted the colorful blankets and pillows, understanding what it felt like to have such a place of warmth. Her own was a little more expansive, though she seldom had time to rest within it. The tasks of being the Lotus kept the Sentient Mother quite busy, though her cybernetics allowed her purchase for much longer than a normal organic.
At the approach of the neon kavat, she gave it a small smile and stroked the feline behind its ears. Both kubrows and kavats seemed to have a special spot there, that would bring content purring and rumbles. Gently taking it the Adarza into her arms like a small child, her steps carried her over to the nest of blankets.
â Tenno? ..Korah.. â
The name is light on her tongue, soft and warm. Not loud enough to startle, but hopefully at a level it would gently rouse the sleeping girl.
