"Let us dance in the Sanctuary."

There’s a soft hiss as the cables linking Lotus to her primary console disengage, central optic dimming for a moment as her systems rerouted their power. Sentients operated like machinery, but melded with organic mass in ways the Grineer could never hope to achieve. Occasionally she would leave her haven to tend to matters her agents could not, or check upon a Tenno she felt needed her guidance.
The latter gathered her attention this cycle. There was a soft cerulean glow that surrounded the Sentient for a moment, then her form dissipated. Similar to that of an oculyst, her innate abilities allowed the manipulation of her physical form. Across further distances until she found herself within a traditional Liset, hopefully not startling its Operator too much.
“Alright jerk face, you better start talkin’ fast as to WHY you defected in the first place and it better not be because you felt bad for us or some shit. I don’t appreciate liars.”
Alad jolts to attention, finding himself suddenly cornered by an angry child or a towering warframe. Either way, he is startled and worried. “I, uh... W-Well, tenno...” He averts his gaze briefly. “I hate to inform you that your example may be part of the reason, but... L-Look, there’s many parts to it!” He holds up his clawed hands in mock surrender. “At first, it was... It was selfish, I’ll admit it. I honestly came running to your side cause... Well, it’s easier to ally with you than to be constantly at odds, you see?” He gives a nervous grin. It quickly falters. “L-Look... They were selfish, self preservation-esque reasons at the beginning, but they’ve blossomed into so much more, tenno!”
"Ain’t enough kindness in this world, friend."
Bandana-covered head tilts down, down to the place where a child’s voice lies, full of youth and harmony. A DEVIL child. Surely this one spoke truth ( certainly ), but what else would they say? Would youthful voice continue to spin a pretty web of sweet nothings and deceit, or continue to sway her another way? Slowly, Mesa’s head shakes out a silent NO. Tentative agreement in the face of such a child.
“We really don’t know what we’re doing.”
“And you’re telling me. You probably have a better idea of what you’re doing - I don’t even know what I’m going to do with myself in the future.” Cue Frihd just kind of- Slumping down with a small huff.“The Corpus Board of Directors doesn’t particularly like people with plenty of debt ledgers, like myself.”
"There’s nothing as mean as a renegade white man."
WESTERN MOVIE STARTERS: TOP GUN
Blue-clad shoulders heave in a silent rustling of amusement ( oho! ), movement arcing again and again and again. But there is only silence ( … ), the usual space that would be filled with sound growing heavy with its absence. UNNERVING. The silent heaving lasts just a little too long, heaves just a little too hard, to be mere laughter. However, Mesa is not any less amused.
This child, this Tenno, was more right than she dreamed. Unruly, discordant males sometimes proved themselves to be the toughest enemies Mesa had to face.
“i’ve never been good at emotional stuff. except anger. anger, i’m good at.”
“Same here. Emotions are fucking weird and hard to understand, not to mention convey and actually read.”
Elijah raised his glass of maprico juice–that Nalen insisted he drink, the busybody–and took a swig of it before leaning back on his free hand, swirling the drink around a bit. He didn’t really get along with people well because of his lack of social skills, so finding someone who knew how it felt to not be able to do emotional stuff well was comforting.
“What makes you say that?”

"Let us dance or I will start a thing with crouch dancing."
\Tenno, you are about to, as the kids say, “Catch These Hands”.\
